This is the Astronomy Day 2010 mock mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope performed by members of the Arrowhead Astronomical Society, U.M.D. Astronomy Club and staff members of the Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium. The mock launch gives the audience some idea of the events during a shuttle blast off. Its intent is to stimulate an interest in astronomy, physics, science and provide a better understanding of our planet Earth. The shuttle goes up to the Hubble Space Telescope and docks beside it. You can then watch the mock Hubble Service Mission to see what the 'astronauts' do to repair the Hubble.
