Best On-Screen (Robin Morgan): Being the host of an event raising money for charity is a difficult task. You have to balance humorous repartee with an underlying sadness, tinged with hope. Did I do these things? Course I bloody did.

My role as the onscreen talent was as compere, together with my co-host. We introduced the proceedings, the contestants, the judges, and even did a little dance at the start. How charming.

I feel I should add at this point that the show in question was Student Come Dancing. I played the role of Bruce Forsyth, and even made a quip about said role, which definitely would have gone down a treat if the microphones had been working.
Nevertheless, I stumbled on, gaining laughs from childish humour and keeping the night going.

I believe I should be awarded with Best Onscreen Performance because, in all honesty, I put a lot of effort into it. I wrote the script for the show, using A-list comedy material (I know, for charity!), and even bought some new Ted Baker’s for eighty-odd-quid. That’s dedication.

Overall, I’d be honoured to win this award, I enjoyed every moment working on the production, and was delighted with the money we raised.
