00:00So this is the slate, four of them plus me, I would say a very balanced, very young, youthful
00:12slate, except for me of course. There's a mix of skills and talents, two potential officeholders
00:18who can go far in helping govern the country as a whole, and who also have good service experience,
00:25two candidates with a lot of grassroots experience. And, you know, people know that I've always
00:32looked out for strong, talented people to come into the team.
00:37Firstly, thank you, Minister, for the kind words. First and foremost, I think it's important
00:41to reiterate that I'm stepping forward to serve, mainly to do the best for residents and for
00:48citizens. And if given the privilege and the opportunity to take on additional responsibility,
00:54I'll be prepared to do so.
00:57In relation to what Minister just mentioned, it's kind of news to me. It's actually, we
01:04didn't have this initial conversation prior to this, but I think it's important to just
01:10really focus on the residents, the people of Singapore, and anything that comes beyond that
01:15as the opportunities come, I will decide in time.
