The Dance of Life (1929)

'The Dance of Life' is a "1929 American pre-Code musical film", the first adaptation of the popular Broadway play 'Burlesque'. Directed by John Cromwell and A. Edward Sutherland, the film follows "Ralph "Skid" Johnson", a vaudeville comic, and "Bonny Lee King", a talented dancer. As they struggle to make it in show business, their relationship is tested by fame, ambition, and personal hardships.
