00:00On the other news, fish remains affordable at the Balintawak market despite a slight decrease in prices as reported by the Department of Agriculture or DA due to high demand during the Holy Week.
00:12The price of round scad or galunggong has dropped by nearly 100 pesos.
00:19While prices of commonly purchased fish varieties in Balintawak remain reasonable, some even lower compared to the DA's 20-200 prices.
00:28Bangos is being sold at 160 to 190 pesos per kilo, lower than the DA's prevailing prices of 220 pesos.
00:38Tilapia remains within the standard price of 160 pesos per kilo.
00:43Round scad fetches between 200 to 220 pesos per kilo, which is significantly lower than the DA's monitored price of 300 pesos per kilo.
00:53The DA has announced that fish prices may continue to drop next week.
