For the start of Series 2 of the relaunch of The Generation Game in 1991, Bruce Forsyth and assistant Rosemary Ford returned to help more unfortunate souls tackle the games awaiting them. The contestants were Brian & Catherine Bailey from Staffordshire, April Forfar & Arthur McGough from Hampshire, Paul & Tina Decker from Surrey and Sadie Lynch & Jeff Laycock from County Durham. The games they faced were "Moving Parts" (involving ballet), "Brush Strokes" (plate painting), "Sing a Long" (to 1950's Rock 'n Roll) and "Fun with the Bun" (self explanatory, as are most of the games to be honest). The final two couples then face off in an apt showdown, a Western spoof that is great fun and even sees Rosemary Ford reduced to her underwear! Indeed, despite the games sounding prosaic, they are all great fun, though one contestant is way out of her depth. However, she is helped out by her partner, who is pretty good. And two male contestants have a Linda Lusardi fixation, leading to Brucie fixing up a phone call with her - or is he? You might be surprised...

01:12Anyway, I'm so excited
01:14I'm even, I even enjoy going to the BBC canteen today, you know
01:18Because you see such interesting people there
01:20Sir David Attenborough was there today
01:22Fascinating man to watch, he really was
01:24He must be the only man in the world
01:26Who can peel a banana with his feet
01:27And Sir David's always searching for the weird and the unusual
01:32Do you know, as he walked out
01:34He picked up Julian Cleary by the leg and said

01:55Oh!
01:56Oh!
01:57Oh!
01:58Very well!
01:59Is it nice to be back?
02:00Nice to be back!
02:01Oh yeah!
02:02Have you missed me?
02:03Yes I have
02:04Oh, I know how you feel, I've missed me too
02:06But listen Bruce...
02:07day and I wasn't on. Listen, before we start the series, do you mind if I just say something
02:12about the show? Well, go on, go on. No, you won't be offended. Me offended? Of course
02:17not. And whatever is on your mind, tell me about the show. Well, it's just that I think
02:22it's a little old-fashioned. Old-fashioned? I think you should just get with it. Listen,
02:29my love, I was getting with it before you knew where it was. Anyway, introduce the teams,
02:37you know, it's the start of the new series. Really sell it, kids, sell it. Go for it.
02:40Okay, right. This is your moment. Go for it, kid. Ah, we're back. Right. Right. Okay,
02:47our first teams from Staffordshire, their father and daughter, Brian and Karen Bailey.
02:59Hello. How are you? Good. Staying right there. That's fine. Karen Bailey, you're a mobile
03:06hairdresser. That's right. Well, what does that entail, my love? I go around from house
03:10to house doing people's hair. Can you tell us any little incident that happened that you
03:14like to tell us about? Yeah. One day I was doing a lady's hair and I was walking around the
03:17chair. Something was by my foot and I thought it was a shoe, so I just kicked it out of the
03:22way. Yes. Shot across the room. It was a packed tortoise. You're... Oh, what's his name?
03:29Brad. Fred. Poor old Fred. He's been the fastest he ever moved. That's right.
03:34Every day I get your father, Brian Bailey, and you're a production manager and you also
03:38help your wife, Shirley, run the village store and the post office. That's correct.
03:42You have only had one day off in 30 years. Absolutely. That's amazing. And you're spending
03:47it with us. Absolutely. That's lovely. One day off in 30 years, I'll make a note of that.
03:52Twit. You'll have to meet Linda Lussardi. Oh, she's a lovely girl. Oh, she's a lovely
03:59girl. But, you know, Linda's in Rock with Laughter at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool.
04:04Oh. You see, so she's up there, but up there till October the 26th, I think, but I could
04:09give her a ring. Would you? Okay. Yeah. Give us my portable phone. I know the number for
04:14Blackpool is 0253, because I've worked there so many times, and Linda has the same number
04:20over where she goes. Oh, yeah. 36, 24, 36. You know the measurements. Well, you know,
04:26all this time you've known her phone number. But you didn't know.
04:32Hello? Hello, Linda? Hello, yes. Linda, it's Brucey.
04:36Hi, Bruce. What's up? Oh, hello, my love. How are you? I'm in a bit of a fix. You see,
04:40one of our contestants wanted to meet you, and you're in Blackpool, so will you have a word
04:44with him? Of course I will. What's his name? His name's Brian, dear. Okay. Okay. Here she is.
04:49Okay, thanks. Hi, Linda. Hello, Brian. How's the show going? Oh, very well, thank you.
04:54Everything okay? No problems? Yes. Very good.
05:00Ooh. I'm going to admit, that this is right here. She looks absolutely beautiful, isn't she?
05:04Brian, are you listening to me? Yes. I'm listening, but I'm also looking a lot.
05:11What? What are you looking at? Look into her eyes. Look into her eyes when you're talking to her.
05:16Listen, I want you to... I said her eyes. Her eyes.
05:19Brian, I've got to go, because I'm due on stage now. Lovely to talk to you. Sorry I can't be there.
05:23I hope the show goes absolutely smashing for you. Thank you very much, Brian.
05:27Okay. Bye for now. Bye. There we are. All right, Brian. And you can take her off with you now, okay?
05:32Take her off with you. Okay. Fine.
05:34I've been coming to talk to you all this time.
05:37There we are.
05:38And who have we got now? Anybody nice?
05:42Our second teams from Hampshire, their mother-in-law and son-in-law, April Fawfar and Arthur McGough.
05:48Oh, my...
05:49There we are.
05:53Hello, hello.
05:54Just singing.
05:56Hello, hello. And you right there. Just good. That's fine. That's marvellous.
06:00Now, April Fawfar.
06:02Yes.
06:02Fawfar.
06:04Fawfar. How tall are you, dear?
06:06Five foot.
06:07Five foot. So, you're a five-foot Fawfar.
06:12I've been dying to do that all day. Right. Now, you're married to Roy. Tell us about your wedding. How did that all go?
06:18Oh, it went very well. And when we left the reception...
06:21Yes.
06:22...we had two shillings. And we had to get in a taxi.
06:25Is that all?
06:25Yeah. Two shillings. We had to get in a taxi, because we were going up the road to a friend's house to stay for the night. We had to watch the meter and get out when the two shillings ran out.
06:35Oh, what a shame. That's a shame.
06:39So, you didn't go far, Fawfar.
06:40No, I'm far.
06:45And what happened after that, dear?
06:47Well, um, Roy went to, um, to East National Service.
06:51Oh, National Service. What did you finish up in?
06:54In Egypt.
06:54In Egypt?
06:55Yes.
06:55How long?
06:56Two and a half. Two years.
06:58Oh, my, oh. So far, Fawfar.
07:02So far, Fawfar. Oh, that's a shame. Yeah, it really is.
07:06Anyway, now over to your son-in-law. Son-in-law, uh, Arthur McGough.
07:11Arthur McGough. Yeah, your poor daughter.
07:14Half her life of Thorfer, now she's got McGough.
07:17Go on, there.
07:17Anyway, you proposed to Anita, that's your wife's name, in a famous restaurant.
07:21What was it, Langham's or, uh, the Caprice?
07:24Where was it?
07:25McDonald's.
07:27McDonald's?
07:28So she went for a Big Mac and finished up with a little McGough.
07:34All right, now, where did you go on your honeymoon?
07:37We haven't had one.
07:38Oh, you haven't had one?
07:40No.
07:40Oh, I'll have a double one.
07:43Shame.
07:45Oh, Fawfar, Fawfar.
07:48Now, before, before I have a nervous breakdown or something,
07:51because you've upset me, you two have a video.
07:53Okay, will you just pop over there and we'll get a game ready for you?
07:56No honeymoon and 18 months without.
07:59I mean, I'm so sorry.
08:01Good.
08:02Come on.
08:04Now then.
08:07Before our first game, I'd just like to remind you that our contestants have no idea what is to be asked of them.
08:13We rehearse, of course, but not with them.
08:16This is their rehearsal.
08:20Our first game is called Moving Parts.
08:23Okay, moving parts.
08:24Okay, boys.

13:50And who better to be our judge than one of our finest prima ballerinas, who's still very closely associated with the ballet, Dame Beryl Gray.
14:01What a day.
14:02What a day.
14:02What a day.
14:09How lucky to feel you a day.
14:10How lucky to see you again.
14:10Ah, thank you.
14:11It sounded very far for me yesterday.
14:13The two aguable and everything that went with it.
14:15I know, I know.
14:16Well, I could see you having a bit of a laugh down there.
14:19I want to start with Brian.
14:21Brian, you looked as though you really meant what you were doing.
14:24You were very positive, I thought.
14:26Yes, yes.
14:27And Karen's legs went up very high.
14:29I don't know if you noticed, maybe you did.
14:31She did, she did.
14:32Oh, yes, very high.
14:33Very high.
14:34Very high.
14:35Seven each, it is.
14:36Very good, 14 points.
14:38Well done indeed.
14:40Now, I'm coming to April.
14:45April gets my admiration because even though her dress came to pieces,
14:50she smiled.
14:52She did.
14:53And as for Arthur, well, Arthur partnered so well,
14:56and Arthur, your jumps were very good.
14:58The jumps were, yeah.
14:58Did you think your jumps were good?
14:59The elevation, the elevation is nice.
15:03Especially for a little Magos.
15:06Yeah, and the finish at the end.
15:08So April's going to have seven and Arthur nine.
15:12So 16 points again.
15:13Thank you for having me together.
15:15Well done indeed.
15:16Beautiful.
15:17And once again, my love, it's so lovely to see you again.
15:21And you still have the charm and grace that you've always had.
15:23Oh, now, what do you want to bother?
15:25Nothing.
15:27Nothing.
15:27You're a darling lady.
15:28Thank you, Dame.
15:29Very good.
15:30There we are.
15:31There we are.
15:33There we are.
15:33What's on the board, Miss Ford?
15:37Well, Karen and Brian have scored 14.
15:40April and Arthur have scored 16.
15:42Oh, just two points to it.
15:45Okay.
15:45The next game is called Brushstrokes.
15:50So, contestant, if you just pop over there, okay.
15:53But first of all, feast your eyes on all this.
15:58Now, all these lovely pieces of fine English bone china, undoubtedly the best in the world,
16:03were hand-guilded by our very clever demonstrator, Peter Charters.
16:07Thank you for being with us.
16:17And Royal Worcester, of course, it is such a wonderful...
16:19How long have you worked for Royal Worcester?
16:2135 years.
16:2235 years?
16:22Minus three.
16:24I had a short break with the family in the States for three years.
16:27For three years you were there?
16:28What were you doing there, then?
16:29Teaching them how to do it.
16:30And we hope that's what our boys do when they get over there for the Ryder Cup.
16:33He's a golfer as well.
16:34So, what about it for our Ryder Cup?
16:36Hey, come over there.
16:37Shout out to you.
16:39And be in a joy for your producer.
16:40Okay, come over here, if you will, and bring them all in, will you, Rosemary,
16:44so they can see exactly what's going on, because this is...
16:47I'm out of here.
16:48Really, where are you going?
16:50He's only little, but as he had all that praise, he's full of himself.
16:54Right.
16:54Okay, now this is liquid gold, and real liquid gold.
16:59Now, away you go, Peter, you explain.
17:00Okay.
17:03Plate on the turntable.
17:04Plate on the turntable.
17:05Charge the brush.
17:07Okay, and then, now this is what you watch carefully.
17:16There you are.
17:20All liquid gold.
17:23Goes on there beautifully.
17:26Now, he's just charging the brush again.
17:28Charging the brush again.
17:30That's it.
17:30And he carries on.
17:33And in just a little while, you'll see him.
17:37That's it.
17:38He's just joining that one to the last line.
17:41Because now he's going to do another line, about, about an inch, inch and a half from the edge there.
17:48See?
17:50But this is the lovely thing to see.
17:51See how he exactly meets that line where he started before.
17:55Which makes it the craft that it is.
17:58And this is why he's so good at it.
18:00There we are.
18:01Now, just the finishing touch, which is the outer, the sort of rim of the plate.
18:06And there's the lovely, thick rim.
18:12And there it is.
18:13Isn't that beautifully done?
18:15Beautifully done.
18:18Absolutely made it.
18:20You've got to see it to believe it.
18:21Okay, and will you come back and do some marking?
18:24I will.
18:24Peter, lovely.
18:25So if you'll come over here, put your pennies on.
18:28Get your pennies on before you start.
18:30That's it.
18:32Down you go there, all right.
18:33April, in you go, love.
18:35Fine.
18:36And you've got a minute and a half, more or less, starting from now.
18:46Important to get a good start.
18:49That wasn't a very good start, was it, dear?
18:51It was a bit of a jog.
18:53That's it.
18:56Not a bad start.
19:01What's going on?
19:08Oh, my goodness.
19:11I wish I had stopped.
19:13And how are we doing here?
19:14Not bad.
19:15Not bad, April.
19:16That's quite good.
19:17He didn't have to go all the way round, dear.
19:19He didn't go?
19:19No, he didn't go all the way round, did he?
19:21So what are you going all the way round for, dear?
19:24You're still ballet dancing.
19:25That's your trouble.
19:26That's it.
19:26Okay.
19:27You start the outer circle.
19:29If you haven't done the inner circle, start the outer circle, because at least you'll
19:32have that done.
19:33Okay.
19:34That's it.
19:35One goes near, one on the outer.
19:37That's it.
19:38Oh, never mind, never mind.
19:39That's only a smudge.
19:40That's all right, dear.
19:42You did what?
19:43Oh, you copped it up.
19:44Sorry.
19:47Okay.
19:48Time's up wherever you're up to.
19:49No, put your brushes down.
19:51Okay, Peter, would you like to come and do some marking, please?
19:55Okay.
19:57Would you mind getting round the other side here?
20:00And take your pinion after this, after this, after he's marked you.
20:03Okay, now, let's have a look here.
20:05I'm wearing my marigolds.
20:08That's a very good outfit.
20:09Not bad, is it?
20:09Plenty of gold to start with.
20:10Plenty of gold to start with.
20:11He's thinned out a bit.
20:12Yes, he's started to thin out a bit.
20:14That's a very good application.
20:15Not a bad...
20:16Yeah, we'll give him five for that one.
20:17You'll give him five for that one?
20:18Not bad at all.
20:20Well done.
20:20Well done, indeed.
20:22Yeah.
20:23If you could just come round here, she got off to a really messy start, bless her heart.
20:28She really did.
20:29It was a real mess in the middle.
20:31It was like a spider gone wrong rather than something.
20:34So...
20:34Yeah, we'll give her three for that one.
20:36Give her three.
20:36Just this three.
20:37It's always really a good three.
20:39But not bad at all, Karen.
20:41And over here.
20:42Now, April got plenty on, of course.
20:45She had a real go.
20:46She did have a real go.
20:47But she forgot to stop there, but she was still going well, and she did get plenty
20:51of gold on.
20:52But, er...
20:53Yeah, we'll give it four for that one.
20:54Four for that one.
20:55Pretty good.
20:56Pretty good.
20:58All righty.
21:00Let's show this one.
21:02You see, he was a bit, er...
21:03He was a bit fragile to start with.
21:06A little bit timid.
21:06He was a bit timid, yes.
21:08But you see, he made up for it with his ballet.
21:10According to the other...
21:11Charged the other ones, we'll call it two points.
21:13Still two points.
21:14I see two points.
21:16All right.
21:17And give all my love to everybody at Raw.
21:20I hope you'll be able to see them again soon.
21:22I can't shake your hands with all this liquid gold.
21:24But thank you, Peter.
21:25And a good game.
21:26Well done, you guys.
21:27Now, what's on the board, Miss Ford?
21:38Well, Karen and Brian have scored 22.
21:4022.
21:41April and Arthur have also scored 22.
21:44Oh, I've said it again.
21:46Heaps.
21:47Well, now then, this is a tiebreaker.
21:50Now, the first one who answers the question correctly.
21:53What change would you get from £5 if your bill comes to £1.79?
22:00£3.21.
22:01Yes.
22:05Oh, my goodness.
22:07I'm sorry to lose you, but I'll tell you something.
22:11You know, it's been...
22:12Well, you've been such marvellous sports.
22:13And we do have a Generation Game telephone for each of you.
22:16And thank you for being such wonderful, wonderful sports.
22:18OK, and we'll see you in our grand final, which is coming up very soon.
22:23OK, April and Arthur, off you go there.
22:26Lovely, lovely stars.
22:30Right.
22:31Gary, who have we got left?
22:35Well, our third team's from Surrey.
22:37Their father and daughter, Paul and Tina Decker.
22:40I know.
22:48And you just got...
22:50Lovely to see you.
22:51Good.
22:51Now, it's Tina Decker, and you're an office manager for TML.
22:55What is that, exactly?
22:56It's the Channel Tunnel Contractors.
22:58Oh, the Channel Tunnel.
22:59Oh, what a boring job.
23:03Right, now, you also like writing poems for special occasions.
23:06Have you written a little one for us?
23:08Just a little one.
23:08Oh, well, let's hear it.
23:09Where have you got it?
23:10Oh, you remembered it.
23:11Oh, it's in there.
23:11How marvellous.
23:12Good, away you go.
23:13It's Saturday night, and the time's come for all to tune in to BBC One.
23:17The generation game you're about to see is packed with fun and frivolity.
23:21Brucie himself, the host debonair, is handsome and suave and full of flair.
23:29Oh, is that it?
23:30That's a funny show.
23:35I was just wallowing with that, and I thought, oh, she's going to go on.
23:39We talk about my body, and all of a sudden it stops.
23:43Anyway, we'll hear the rest of it later, I hope.
23:45Definitely.
23:45Good.
23:45Over now to your father, Paul Decker.
23:48Oh, sorry, Paul Martin Decker.
23:50Correct.
23:50Oh, yeah, so you're a double-decker.
23:52Yes, that's right.
23:53And you have the ability to drop off to sleep at any time, any place, anywhere.
23:58Absolutely.
23:58Is that right?
23:58Where have you done this?
23:59Where have you done this?
24:00I fell asleep at a dinner party, and my head nearly fell in the suit.
24:02No.
24:03Really?
24:03Rip, rip.
24:04Yeah.
24:04Yeah, rip, yeah, yeah.
24:05And I fell asleep at a status quo concert sitting next to the vampires.
24:09You did.
24:10Status quo?
24:10Well, it was so noisy, it sent me off to sleep.
24:14That's terrible.
24:15But, yes, of course, they told me about you, Dozie Decker.
24:20You look a lovely couple.
24:22Thank you very much for being here.
24:23We'll be with you in a minute.
24:25With a go.
24:25Lovely.
24:26Nice people.
24:27Nice people.
24:28Lovely.
24:29And who are our fourth team?
24:31They're from County Durham.
24:33They're aunt and nephew, Sadie Lynch, and Jeff Laycock.
24:36Right.
24:36And Jeff, girly good.
24:46OK, Sadie Lynch, you're a housewife.
24:48Yes, that's right.
24:48I see, and your husband, Eric, is retired.
24:51Yes.
24:51And used to be a welder.
24:52That's right.
24:52How long were you married?
24:5335 years.
24:5435 years of welded bliss.
24:57Yes.
24:57You say you're one of those people who never stop talking, even in your sleep.
25:03That's correct, yes.
25:03Is that right?
25:04Yeah.
25:04Oh, poor old Eric.
25:05And with him being a welder, I bet he's trying...
25:07He sometimes wanted to weld my mouth.
25:08I bet he has did.
25:10I bet he had was just going to say that, so that's killed that, hasn't it?
25:16Now then, over to Jeff Laycock, and you train apprentice engineers.
25:21That's right.
25:21Your previous job, you were sheet metal worker.
25:23Mm-hmm.
25:24And you met your new lady in your life when you were only five years old.
25:27Tell us all about that.
25:28That's right, yeah.
25:28Well, we both went to the same school, you see.
25:30Oh, did you, yeah?
25:31Right, and when the big lads used to play football, I used to go in the knitting class
25:34so I'd say I could be with her.
25:36Oh, you know, I used to enjoy myself, you know.
25:38You wouldn't play football.
25:39Might have gone a bit since then, like...
25:40You go and knit with the girls in the class.
25:42Yeah, yeah.
25:42Yeah, put it down, you know, a bit limperish.
25:43Well, now I'll make a note of it.
25:45Wimp.
25:46Okay, now, um, now...
25:50Oh, God, Dee, you'd love to meet Linda Lussardi.
25:53I am.
25:53God, not another one.
25:54Oh, you saw the...
25:56No, I was up there.
25:57I'll try, she won't mind.
25:58I'll phone her again, I'll phone her again.
26:00Now, it's 0253, and the number is 36, 24, 36.
26:05Oh, they all know this, okay.
26:09Hello?
26:10Hello, Linda, it's Brucie again.
26:12Oh, hello again.
26:13Oh, hello, Linda, oh, this is a very good line this time.
26:16You sound so close.
26:18Well, I could be even closer if you like, Bruce.
26:20Oh, really?
26:21Even closer, speak with me.
26:23Hello?
26:25Yeah?
26:26Hello?
26:27I don't believe you.
26:39Hear what he said.
26:40He said, I've won, I'm going.
26:45It's charming, isn't it?
26:46Just a minute, just a minute.
26:48You'll see Linda later on when all over the...
26:50And Linda, thank you very much.
26:51Thank you, Bruce.
26:51And good luck for the rest of your season.
26:52Thank you, Bruce.
26:53Okay, have a wonderful time.
26:54Oh, another one.
26:55Okay, off you go then, lovely.
26:57Go, away you go.
26:58Our next game, our next game is called Singalong.
27:07So, will you all go off and get ready, please?
27:09Right, now this is a karaoke machine.
27:12Bring her back on.
27:14Over here, if you will.
27:16Nice, lovely, right?
27:17Anybody get in the middle of it?
27:18Okay, in the middle of it?
27:20In the middle of it?
27:20Get down here, down here, down here, further.
27:23That's it, that's it, that's lovely.
27:24Now, I'm going to start with you.
27:27You're each going to verse for yourself.
27:29Don't sing until I get to you with the microphone.
27:31And good luck to all of you.
27:32Here we go.

29:10Well, naturally, we needed a judge for this game
29:23With the highest musical credentials
29:26A man of so many, many hit musicals
29:29We welcome Mr. Tim Rice
29:32Yes
29:32Cheers
29:33Cheers
29:34Cheers
29:35Cheers
29:36Cheers
29:36Cheers
29:36Well, I suppose you feel like writing a musical round these four
29:44No
29:44Well, you had the first refusal
29:48Right, but what do you think?
29:50Paul, five
29:51Yes
29:51Tina, seven
29:53Yes
29:53And this makes
29:54Twelve
29:55Twelve

29:56Twelve for you two
29:57One, two, three
29:58Five
30:00Five and seven

30:08Yes
30:09And what about Sadie?
30:12So, Sadie, I think you should get seven points
30:13Yes
30:14And seven and nine makes
30:15Sixteen
30:16Yes
30:17Tim Rice, thank you very much
30:23You'll just stay down there
30:25And here we are
30:27Now then
30:28What's on the board, Miss Ford?
30:31Well, Tina and Paul have scored twelve
30:33Sadie and Geoff have scored sixteen
30:35That's right, sixteen, twelve
30:37Okay
30:38Well, it's all right
30:39Don't get all that stuff off
30:40All right
30:41Then just go over there and get it all off
30:42Okay
30:43Our next game is called
30:45Fun with the Bun
30:46Feast your eyes on all this
30:48These are called ensimadas
30:50Now, if I said fun with an ensimada
30:53Half of you wouldn't know what I was talking about
30:55So let's meet the man responsible for all those bakery delights
30:58Please welcome Jose Parello Schumet
31:01Welcome, Jose, welcome
31:10Now, you are originally from Mallorca
31:12Mallorca
31:13Mallorca
31:14Mallorca
31:15Okay, and that's where you start as a young, young boy
31:16How old were you when you made your first ensimada?
31:18I went to school, I started, I suppose I was about eight years old
31:22Eight years old
31:23To work in the bakery
31:24To work in the bakery and since then you've been making all that
31:26Yes
31:26And ensimadas you normally have for breakfast, is that right?
31:28Yeah, well, yes, you have a small one, little ones
31:31Little ones?
31:32Little ones?
31:32Oh, they're the little ones for breakfast and the other ones you have for another brother
31:35You dunk them in the coffee
31:37You dunk them in the coffee, it sounds great
31:39Anyway, have a look at this, okay?
31:39You can make a difference
31:40Get in closer, you can see what is there
31:42First of all, a little bit of oil, okay?
31:44A little bit of oil on there, okay?
31:46That's it
31:48And you put it back in there
31:50Right, that's lovely
31:52Now
31:54Don't put too much oil because otherwise you'll have it
31:57Not too much oil
31:58No, you'll have it
31:59But just enough
32:00Yeah, that's right
32:01Then you roll it out together like that
32:02Yeah
32:03I see
32:04And then what's this you're putting in here?
32:06This is butter
32:07Sugar
32:08Butter sugar
32:09And then the vanilla
32:11Now this is the stretching part
32:12The stretching part
32:13Stretching, very important
32:14You stretch a bit like that
32:15Once you stretch a bit like that
32:16At this stage
32:17Then when you stretch it
32:18Then you pull and roll
32:19Roll it down
32:20The more you pull and roll
32:22The more layers and the lighter you'll be
32:25The lighter the whole thing will be
32:26The more layers
32:27That's right
32:28Ah, good, yeah
32:29Now, what do we do now?
32:30I stretch
32:31Yeah
32:32Again
32:33Different one
32:34Yeah
32:35Oh
32:36Oh
32:37Oh
32:38All right
32:39All right
32:40Here we go
32:41All right
32:42Go again
32:43Get the poor arms
32:44Save you
32:45Get all of it by this end
32:46And you get the two ends there
32:48And twist them around
32:49That's the twist
32:50Okay
32:51And tie it off at the end there
32:54And then you just do a quick
32:56Flick with the wrist
32:57Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom
32:58And there we are
32:59And there's your insomnia
33:00That's the one
33:01Okay
33:02Isn't that beautiful?
33:03There you are
33:04How about it?
33:06Can you take that one with you?
33:08Or will you come back and do some marking, Jose?
33:09Yes
33:10Off you go, Jose
33:11Good, lovely, lovely
33:12Here you go here
33:13Put your pennies on
33:14Put your pennies on there
33:16Okay
33:17You have your yellow pennies this side
33:19Okay
33:20You've got about a minute
33:21About a minute
33:22Round about that time
33:23Starting from now
33:25That's it
33:27The oil goes on first
33:29But as he said
33:30Not too much oil
33:31So don't go too crazy with that
33:33Rolling out
33:34That's it
33:35Roll them out
33:36To about the right size
33:37What's he done?
33:38You lost your rolling pin
33:41You sent a sleeper game
33:44Keep your rolling pin out of the way there
33:48Good
33:49Stretching and rolling going on
33:52Stretch it
33:53Re-rolling
33:54Wherever you're up to stop
33:55Wherever you're up to stop
33:56Okay
33:57All right
33:58Now then
33:59Will you all face the back
34:00Face the back
34:01I know it's uncomfortable with your fingers at the moment
34:03Okay, now you just face round here
34:05Now you're gonna do your whipping
34:06And your twisting
34:07Okay
34:08So get this one first
34:09And give it the whip
34:10You know the way he did?
34:11You have 15 seconds to do this
34:12Starting from now
34:14Whip
34:15Whip
34:16No, whip it, whip it
34:17It's a whip, that's it
34:18Go on
34:19And whip it again
34:20Whip it again
34:21That's it, go on again
34:22Okay, now get the two together
34:23And do your twisting bit
34:25Get the two together
34:26And remember the way you twisted them down
34:27That's it
34:28Give it
34:29Twist it down
34:30Go down
34:32Go down
34:33That's it
34:34Go down
34:35That's it
34:36Make a pattern
34:37Lovely five
34:38Okay
34:39You've got two here
34:40So give this one a good whip first
34:41Oh
34:42Oh
34:43Oh
34:44Oh
34:45Oh
34:46Oh
34:47Oh
34:49That's it
34:50Come on
34:51Go on
34:52That's it
34:53That's it
34:54Good
34:55Good
34:56That's it
34:57Make a little... Good. OK, now plonk it down, plonk it down.
35:01That's it, make a pattern. Lovely fives. OK, yeah.
35:04I've said you've got two here, so give this one a good whip first.
35:07Oh, no!
35:10Oh, the other one!
35:17Wait for me to say go. You've got 15 seconds, OK.
35:21You've had three. Right, go. That's long enough.
35:24Forget the other one. Be careful.
35:31Twist it round.
35:36Twist it round.
35:39Plonk it down, plonk it, make a pattern.
35:42It's round your watch.
35:45Right. OK, are you ready now?
35:48Geoff, away you go. 15 seconds starts now.
35:51Do the whip.
35:54That's it.
35:57Now get them together and twist them round.
35:59Come on. That's it. That's good.
36:01Well done.
36:03Lovely, lovely.
36:05OK, now twist it round. Get it in a pattern, get it in a pattern.
36:08That's it, that'll do. That's beautiful. Fine. OK.
36:11Lovely, Jose.
36:13Well, hey, I'm here.
36:16Will you get to the end there, please?
36:18There we are. Paul, that's lovely.
36:20And if you'll come in here, now what do you think?
36:22First of all, he got in a bit of a state, that's how he finished.
36:26Not a lot.
36:27Not a lot.
36:29It's all right.
36:30Not a lot, but what do you think?
36:32Four.
36:33Just four out of ten.
