Bruce Forsyth hosts and Rosemary Ford assists this week's contestants, who are Peter & Coran Wollard from West Glamorgan, and Nellie Barker & Michael Barden from London & Surrey, plus Dave Hemming & Nicky Major from Avon, and Julie & Gary Bird from West Yorkshire. The games involve majorette baton twirling (including a great Freddie Mercury backing track), Milk Nut Baking (not as dubious or painful as it sounds, believe me), putting on a fireman's chemical suit, and Film Themes (guessing the prop to the film) before the final two perform sound effects for a "News Huddlines" radio show featuring Roy Hudd, June Whitfield and Chris Emmett to try and earn the right to go on the Conveyor Belt of prizes. The News Huddlines finale really is the best moment of the episode, with superb ad libbing from Hudd, Whitfield and Emmett as things inevitably go wrong and where each story played out goes on different tangents. This was originally broadcast on October 8th 1993, but this is from a repeat on BBC4 a couple of years ago and one that thankfully copied okay. Please note this does contains some glitches due to the tape, so apologies in advance. But it is also great fun, so I hope you enjoy.
