03:08va a continuar.
05:49textiles, ropa, incluso juguetes, acero y aluminio.
16:10una tragedia.
18:01President Trump's announcement of universal tariffs on the whole world, including the
18:27European Union, is a major blow to the world economy.
18:33I deeply regret this choice.
18:36Let's be clear-eyed about the immense consequences.
18:40The global economy will massively suffer.
18:43Uncertainty will spiral and trigger the rise of further protectionism.
18:48And, well, from Washington as well, the International Monetary Fund points out that it is evaluating
19:17the impact of everything that was announced yesterday and that this clearly represents
19:22a considerable risk for global growth prospects.
19:26It is the position of the director-general of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina
19:33Giorgieva.
19:34My dear José López Zamorano, in Washington, not everyone agrees with what happened yesterday.
19:40How are you doing?
19:41New link with you.
19:42See you there.
19:43Good evening.
19:44How are you?
19:45Good evening, Javi.
19:46How are you?
19:47Perfect.
19:48Probably the most eloquent voice was that of the financial markets, as we saw.
19:50More than three billion dollars were lost in the last few hours, that is, three million
19:55million dollars of wealth in the United States.
19:59It is the worst fall since 2020 and, of course, the reactions were not expected, both internationally
20:04and domestically, from Ottawa to Beijing.
20:09Former Treasury Secretaries like Larry Summers, who are professors at Harvard University,
20:14instigated this absurd idea, the illogical one that represents unleashing this trade war
20:19and facing the main trade partners of the United States.
20:23And, of course, there is this feeling that this is going to create a new international
20:26economic order, but it is not known with what characteristics, but everyone is going to
20:30lose.
20:31And notice that it caught my attention, Jaime, the reaction of a Trump supporter, who is
20:35a wealthy, conservative businessman, owner of several automobile distributors, who asked
20:40the question, he said, well, if it is admirable the idea, the goal, that manufacturers return
20:45to the United States, that a factory comes, he said, but imagine in the most positive
20:48scenario that a factory can come here in five years or perhaps in two years, right?
20:53So that it can recover some thousands of jobs, how many other thousands of jobs are going
20:57to start to be lost during that period?
21:00Because I myself, says the businessman, I am already fired from workers and obviously
21:04that the idea that the businessman is going to be the one who absorbs the cost of the
21:08business is going to be the public, because obviously we cannot cost it.
21:12And it is a bit of the reflection that is here in the United States, Jaime, and that
21:15in some way it is also being transmitted to the conservative ranks, with some Republican
21:20senators who are opposed to these tariff measures, because what is definitely expected, all
21:25the surveys, the research centers point out, is that this increases the probabilities
21:31up to 60 percent, according to JP Morgan, that the United States enters a period of
21:35recession that is going to impact the entire population, including some of the segments
21:39that have typically supported Donald Trump.
21:41So the reaction has been mostly negative, even in some countries that went and adopted
21:47less confrontational positions, less confrontational with the United States, such as Mexico, the
21:52United Kingdom, Japan, obviously there is a concern for the impact that this type of
21:57action may have at an international level.
21:59We will see José, what decision does Donald Trump make?
22:03We saw it in this statement he gives to the media, in Air Force One, he is still right,
22:08I don't think he has the slightest intention of doing or changing his direction, he is doing
22:15something that he is convinced of, we will see what happens.
22:18But notice that an important detail against his economic and commercial advisers who had
22:23said that there would be no way there would be some kind of backward march, that this
22:27is a sharp measure that is going to be applied because what it is about is to order the international
22:32economy under Trump's orders, that's what they said.
22:36President Trump made it clear that some kind of agreement is open, he said, well, if they
22:41offer me something that is phenomenal, for example, China, perhaps with the TikTok issue,
22:46we will always listen, we will see what can be done.
22:48I think President Trump is pondering what this reaction of the markets is going to be,
22:52not on the first day, but in the following days, to determine if I will probably start
22:57making some adjustments to his strategy, because evidently a sustained fall in the
23:02stock market can lead to a truly bad period for the US economy.
23:07So in some way, if we are seeing that flexibility, he calls it kindness, which he once marked
23:13to see if it is possible that some kind of agreement can be reached with some countries
23:16and somehow prevent that from becoming a global catastrophe.
23:19Yes, those who know him, his biographies and his biographers point out that it is the way
23:24in which Donald Trump himself likes and feels comfortable in a negotiation.
23:28José, well, attentive to what is happening, surely tomorrow again to close the week well,
23:34we will make a new link.
23:35Thank you, Jaime, good night.
23:37Very good night.
23:38After the news of Donald Trump by putting the reciprocated tarpaulins, media around
23:45the world published as his main note the tarpaulins imposed by the United States.
23:50Some of these have been like that of the Angel Stein saying, Trump proudly promotes
23:55radical tarpaulins.
23:57The British newspaper The Guardian said that tarpaulins represent a blow to the United Kingdom.
24:03In the same way, Le Monde, a French newspaper, pointed out that the imposition of tarpaulins
24:07as the launch of a world trade war.
24:10Le Figaro, back in France, said that the world was in shock by the trade war.
24:15In the same way, El Clarín de la Argentina celebrated that Trump raises taxes on our
24:19products less than other countries.
24:22Well, everyone has a different magnifying glass, right?
24:25The Wall Street Journal said that with the new trade regime, the United States is about
24:29to overthrow the era of globalization.
24:31The Washington Post made known that the imposition of tarpaulins is a new economic barrier
24:37for countries with poverty.
24:39The New York Times critic said that Trump deployed a new and vast arsenal of global tarpaulins.
24:45Meanwhile, the Spanish newspaper El País reported that the Spanish government is already preparing
24:50aid for the sectors that will be most affected by the imposition of tarpaulins.
24:58We are going to take a break with La Política es Así, Ángel Aguirre Rivero.
25:02Hello, Jaime, good evening.
25:09Dear viewers, although financial institutions have projected a drop in economic growth
25:17for our country due to external factors, such as the recent imposition of tarpaulins by
25:22the United States, it is important to point out that Mexico has solid bases and a firm
25:31base to face these challenges.
25:33President Claudia Sheinbaum has shown skill and prudence in managing international relations,
25:40especially with our main trading partner, which is the United States.
25:44Likewise, in the internal economic sphere, Mexico has significant strengths that allow
25:50us to face this situation with optimism.
25:53Sectors such as tourism, telecommunications and construction have a remarkable resilience
25:58and capacity to adapt to complex scenarios.
26:01Strategic projects promoted by the government, such as the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus
26:07of Tehuantepec, not only attract new investments, but also position the country as a key actor
26:14in global trade, strengthening regional production chains.
26:18The Mexico Plan is a roadmap that will allow us to strengthen the domestic market and generate
26:26better expectations for exports.
26:29If that were not enough, there is no doubt that Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Economy,
26:35is undoubtedly the best negotiator we could have found in this difficult and unprecedented
26:41trade relationship with the United States.
26:44Mexican entrepreneurship plays a fundamental role that has shown to be innovative and committed,
26:50adapting quickly to new economic realities and continually looking for opportunities
26:56to grow, generate jobs and maintain the stability of the country.
27:01Mexico has everything it needs to turn the challenges of 2025 into trampolines towards
27:08sustainable growth, with leadership, innovation and unity.
27:13We are sure that we will be strengthened.
27:16Good night and until next time.
27:18See you in the next comment.
27:21Let's go now with security information.
27:23The former governor of Puebla, Mario Omarín, was transferred back to the high-flying prison
27:28in the state of Mexico.
27:30This after a court of appeals in Cancún, Quintana Roo, revoked the cautious measure
27:35of domiciliary prison in the judicial process that he faces for torture against the journalist
27:40Lidia Cacho.
27:41Let us remember that on August 14, 2024, the ex-manager left the prison to continue
27:48with this process at home.
27:51Through social networks, La Comunicadora celebrated that Marín is back in prison.
27:56Today, Tuesday, April 2, 2025, we have just won an appeal before the court for the ex-governor
28:04who ordered me to torture Mario Marín to be returned to the high-flying prison.
28:10At the same time, Cámenlas and Borges are in Puebla and are making political negotiations
28:15to try to free the governor from the torture accusations.
28:18The three judges assured in this new sentence that Mario Marín is a dangerous prisoner
28:24effectively and that he must be in the high-security panel.
28:30To talk more about this case that has been fundamental to know and what has happened
28:34over the last practically 20 years, we are accompanied by Ricardo Sánchez Pérez del
28:40Pozo, special prosecutor for the attention of crimes committed against freedom of expression
28:45and Sara Irene Herrerías Guerra, prosecutor of human rights of the Attorney General of
28:49the Republic.
28:50What a pleasure to greet you, good evening, welcome.
28:53Good evening, thank you for the invitation.
28:55Prosecutor, Sara Irene, first, the issue of human rights and what happens in a case
28:59as particular as that of Lidia Cacho, where political power was involved within what
29:06happened in her journalistic exercise and freedom of expression, what does it mean?
29:10And also of the situation itself that she exercised as a woman, what does it mean what
29:15happened a few hours ago to return Mario Marín to prison?
29:21Well for us it is very important precisely because of the relevance of the case and because
29:27from the beginning, since 2018, when the arrest warrant was requested by this
29:34Fiscalía de Libertad de Expresión, which depends on me, but the headline is the prosecutor
29:40Ricardo, Lidia Cacho has been accompanied to obtain justice.
29:49In August, as you say, when the precautionary measure was changed, it was also something
29:59very important that we had to revoke and that is why the appeal resource was interposed
30:05and the arguments that were made convincing the court that really this person did put
30:13the victim at risk, the process, if he was in freedom, was heard by the court and that is why
30:20the fact that they revoked this resolution was very important for us.
30:24Prosecutor Ricardo Sánchez, they point out that this has a national transcendence because
30:29this crime is committed in the act of torture and of being treated with aggression against
30:37a person who is exercising their right to freedom of expression through the exercises
30:41that Lidia Cacho carried out, that is the transcendence that it has to return to Mario
30:45Marín to prison, to the high plane?
30:47Well, the case is very emblematic in many ways because through this case we were able
30:53to establish a whole network of power that was used to sanction freedom of expression,
31:00the entire state apparatus of the state of Puebla was organized at the time to sanction
31:06the freedom of expression of a journalist and that is fundamental and this case is emblematic
31:12because it was possible to establish an accusation, a formulation and a case of more than 10 people
31:19in which he was pointed out for his participation, he has been advancing in a diverse way regarding
31:25each of the impeached and with various results in this process and Mario N. at this moment,
31:31as he is still a person who enjoys that presumption, is at the head of that power organization
31:40and that is why it is so important to point out that the case, obviously this accusation
31:46is very important, that of Mario N., however, that of all the people who were below and
31:51who were part of that power structure to sanction a journalistic exercise and that
31:57we cannot allow it as a state and the crime of torture is such a relevant crime that
32:03it must be sanctioned and must be understood in all its context and in all the breadth
32:07of what this case implies, that is why it is transcendent.
32:10Mrs. Irene, is the victim re-victimized with a decision-making like what happened in August
32:162014 when this domiciliary prison was granted to Mario N., as they are called?
32:21Yes, totally, because she, the moment this person leaves, is at risk again, she is
32:28afraid again about what can happen to her and above all what she has commented, where
32:36this person, Kamel Nassif, can also be influencing those decisions so that this person
32:45achieves impunity, so of course it is a double re-victimization that Lidia is suffering
32:52and in this sense I also want to comment on this freedom that was given to that businessman,
32:58to Kamel Nassif, which was also something very transcendent, the arguments that were
33:03used to set him free, there you can also see this organization of power, because this
33:09decision of the court is contrary to the law and contrary to the constants and even so
33:15this businessman was set free.
33:17There is a decision of three judges that points out that it is dangerous and that the victim
33:22is at risk in this case.
33:23Indeed, the magistrates resolve, there is a decision of two votes and one against, but
33:30for the most part it is determined that there is a risk for the process, not only for the
33:34process of Mario N., but for the other processes that run parallel to these other
33:39people that I have pointed out, that there are still three that are in the criminal process
33:44and pending its resolution, then the incidence that could be given against the possible
33:49witnesses in this process, the risk for the victim that despite the fact that she can
33:53have some measure, there is a latent risk for the economic power, the political power
33:58of the defendant in this case and a risk of escape, which is also an element.
34:05The law marks those three elements as possible to determine a justified preventive prison
34:13and in this case they had been tested and they had been tested on several occasions before
34:16the judges of first instance and this circumstance had already been validated and in August 2014
34:24the criteria of the judge changed to grant a measure of domiciliary freedom subject
34:33to an electronic lock, then in that sense we consider that this resolution is very
34:39important to advance the process because it helps to ensure that we have a cleaner process
34:45and that the victim and the witnesses are not pressured by these apparatus of power.
34:51But Irene, 20 years and the process continues, what to tell you, go when one sees these processes,
34:59when one sees the victim, go in this case to Lidia Cacho, do not take your finger off the
35:02ruler but change your life completely, it is also exhausting for the victims, processes
35:10with these characteristics, right?
35:12That's right, it is one of the issues that from our point of view as public ministries
35:18we consider that it must be changed in administration and in the prosecution of justice, this issue
35:24of resources, of all the resources that can be interposed as a defense strategy that
35:30even the court also said, the court said that the one that has been lengthened so much
35:35was as a defense strategy and that is why the change of precautionary measure was also justified,
35:43this issue of being able to lengthen in harm to the victims is something that we consider
35:52that if it has to be changed in this way of seeking justice, it ends up being exhausting
35:57and exhausting for many and finally, Ricardo Sánchez, freedom of expression is talked about,
36:03in Mexico we enjoy freedom of expression, freedom of expression is protected and it is pursued
36:09when it is attacked.
36:10Well, from the prosecution we have the part of investigating those crimes that are denounced
36:15against freedom of expression, I can tell you that it has advanced significantly in
36:20recent years since the Special Prosecutor's Office in the field of human rights directed
36:25by Dr. Sara Irene, in recent years it has advanced significantly, for example, if we
36:29compare from 2010 to 2017, there were three condemning sentences in this case, from 2018
36:37to the date, we have more than 200 favorable resolutions, from 2010 to 2017, and from 2018
36:44to the date, we are talking about more than 200 favorable resolutions for the victims,
36:49obviously it is necessary to work even more, we are advancing in improving the investigations
36:56but we are talking about that in the last 6-7 years more than 400 people have been impeached
37:04for crimes committed against freedom of expression, from the crimes that are considered
37:09with a lower sentence, such as the crime of threats, which is very recurrent against
37:14the journalistic guild, to much more serious crimes, such as murder and torture, which
37:20are the crimes that have the most impact on this, it has advanced in positive resolutions
37:25and we consider that, obviously, there is still an important challenge for this country,
37:29but we are on a better path to obtain justice against those who are against the journalists.
37:36Well, Ricardo Pérez, Sánchez Pérez, from the Special Prosecutor's Office for the
37:41Attention of Crimes Committed against Freedom of Expression, Sara Irene Herrerías Guerra,
37:46Prosecutor of Human Rights of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic, thank you for being
37:51here present and speaking and understanding how much we have to work and of course also
37:56attentive to a case that has been, as they say, emblematic, in search of justice for
38:00Lidia Cacho. Take care and have an excellent night.
38:02Likewise, thank you very much.
38:03Thank you very much.
38:04Thank you for the invitation.
38:05See you soon.
38:06Thank you.
38:07And look, the two victims of the shooting that happened yesterday in front of a house
38:10in Chalco in the State of Mexico, Saul and Justin Marquez, were transferred to Tlaxcala
38:16where they are going to be buried.
38:17In an interview with Telediario, the woman who recorded the aggression and reported what
38:22was happening practically live, my partner Ernesto Guzmán told him how things went.
38:41They are images of the funeral of Saul and Justin Marquez.
38:44Their funerals were abandoned in the Ex-Hacienda de Guadalupe fraction in Chalco on the morning
38:49of this Thursday, escorted by their relatives and friends, they went to the state of Tlaxcala,
38:54where they are from, to be buried there.
38:58In an interview for Telediario, Katia Reyes, a relative of these two men, pointed out that
39:02she was the one who recorded the video that went viral.
39:05She explained that the next day, neighbors informed them that someone had entered Justin's house
39:10.
39:12We arrived and yes, there were people, they had already broken the sheets with emery and they were already changing
39:20sheets and everything, we arrived and we told them what was happening, a lady told us that she
39:27is the owner, one that came in blue, we said ok, well, this house is rented, my son rents it,
39:35my mother-in-law tells him, I told him, it has been a few days since he has just moved.
39:42When asking Mrs. Carlota for the documents that she believed were her property, she refused
39:47to show them, which caused the discussion to rise in tone.
39:51Katia also expressed her indignation over the fact that on social networks some people
39:56treat this woman as a heroine, when in reality she killed her relatives.
40:01I can't believe it because they defend an indefensible person, that is, how are they going to defend
40:08a person who comes and kills cold blood?
40:12For this reason, he demands justice from the Mexican authorities so that the case is thoroughly investigated
40:17and is not unpunished.
40:18My brother-in-law was a very good person, my father-in-law above all, they fixed washers,
40:27they went, they came and many people from here, we have been here for a short time and they became
40:35a lot of people who loved them so much.
40:43The funeral was overshadowed by some friends of Justin, who, drunk, fired
40:48bullets at him, which even caused the intervention of patrols from the municipalities
40:53of Ixtapaluca and Chimalhuacán during the early hours.
40:56The legal situation of Carlota N. and the other two detainees will be resolved this Friday,
41:01when the 48 hours of his detention are fulfilled.
41:05With images by Erick Rangel.
41:06For Milenio Noticias, Ernesto Guzmán.
41:12Well, about the case, the governor of the state of Mexico, Delfina Gómez, said,
41:16we won this event, but she assures that her government is already working to prevent
41:22people from arriving and invading the spaces and homes in Chalco, so they are going to
41:27strengthen security in the area and they are going to undertake an urban reorganization
41:30because she said, it is very necessary, it is very necessary to do this.
41:34The governor said that the security operations will continue throughout the entity.
41:41One more break, we are going to return with a lot of information.
41:44Olivia Aguirre Bonilla is with us, candidate for minister for the Supreme Court of Justice
41:49of the Nation.
41:50We are back.
41:51Well, we are back, we are back.
41:54Olivia Aguirre Bonilla is here with us, she is a candidate for minister of the Supreme
41:59Court of Justice of the Nation.
42:00Olivia, first, what a pleasure to greet you, how are you?
42:03Good evening.
42:04Good evening, Jaime.
42:05Very good.
42:06Delighted to be here with you and with all your audience.
42:07What number are you in?
42:09It's the purple ticket, right?
42:10The purple ticket.
42:11I am in the best number, the number zero one.
42:15Ah, look.
42:16The number one.
42:17You are the one who heads the ticket.
42:18That's right.
42:19Let's see, let's start from the beginning.
42:21Who is Olivia Aguirre Bonilla?
42:22Well, I am a Juarense woman of birth.
42:25I am 39 years old and I live in my beautiful city of Juárez, proudly a Chihuahuan, and
42:32the only one in the state of Chihuahua and soon the only Chihuahuan who can reach the
42:39Supreme Court because there has not been a Chihuahuan woman in the Supreme Court.
42:43I am a postulant lawyer, look, I have been in litigation for 15 years, litigating from
42:49the private sphere.
42:50I know the deficiencies of the judicial system because I face those deficiencies day by day.
42:55I manage the civil area, the family area and I am an academic, I am a professor at the
43:00Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez and I am a researcher, part of the national system
43:05of researchers, researchers of CONACYT.
43:07So, well, I am a woman who comes from the middle class, I have advanced in my studies,
43:14I have been able to professionalize academically because of the support of my parents, but also
43:20with scholarships that I have obtained through the federal government and scholarships also
43:24from my university.
43:25What has been the step of Olivia in the judicial power?
43:29I do not have a judicial career, I do not have a judicial career, but I am a litigant
43:35lawyer, I know the system and beware that many have criticized those who do not have
43:40a judicial career, but let me tell you something very important, what good is it for me that
43:44you bring a judicial career of 100 years of experience if you continue doing the same
43:50practices and you still have the same deficiencies?
43:53In other words, the fact that you have a judicial career is not a guarantee that you are a good
43:57profile.
43:58I understand everything you tell me Olivia, within the Supreme Court five spaces will
44:03be for women, how will you establish something unprecedented that is happening to establish
44:09a campaign in a country like Mexico, so big, so diverse, with few resources, what will
44:15be your strategy Olivia?
44:16Well, it is that we are really all candidates and super limited candidates and the first
44:23limiter we have is the economic issue, why?
44:26Because we have a campaign cap of 1,400,000 and you know who benefits from that?
44:31The candidates and candidates who bring the most money, that is, it seems that they are
44:35designing the reform for those who bring money, in my case I am a professor at a university,
44:41I also have litigation issues, but in the litigation we do not have a monthly income,
44:46so the competition from the beginning is not even, because we face the economic issue,
44:53I do not even have that 1,400,000, how can I also campaign throughout the republic?
44:59Well only through the networks, because we cannot dictate, we cannot dictate through
45:03third parties, so we really have it difficult, but pushed forward, very happy to be on the
45:10electoral ballot for the position of minister, it is a historical opportunity, I could not
45:16be on the ballot today if the reform had not been given, why?
45:21Because these positions, who were they for?
45:23Who positioned them?
45:24The executive, and how did he position them?
45:26Ah, well, with those political influences and he was close to power, in my case, well,
45:31no, I am not close to power.
45:32What was your committee?
45:33Where did you enter?
45:34How good that you ask me that, I registered in the three evaluation committees, but I
45:39do want to make it very clear here, a point that seems important to me, regarding that
45:43I leave the committee of the judicial power, and a lot has been criticized, to the list
45:50...
45:51He was the one who stopped working at the time, and had to take control of the Senate.
45:56That's right, but there are many political actors who are criticizing those of us who
46:00left that list, and even calling not to vote for those on that list, but it seems very
46:05irresponsible to me, because I had the right to register in the three committees, because
46:10it was the opportunity to get to the electoral ballot, why wasn't I going to do it?
46:14I mean, the fact that I didn't get there because of another committee, that doesn't invalidate
46:19my candidacy, even I got there as the best evaluated in the legislative power, my number
46:25went into the rump, and it didn't come out, but I passed the filters in the three committees.
46:32What does Olivia Aguirre Bonilla say about her contenders?
46:36Of those who are, for example, today being ministers, contending for a position there too.
46:41Well, well, it seems to me that there has been an anticipated campaign, without a doubt,
46:44they have also taken advantage of the position that they occupy, and they are even contradictory,
46:50because look, the constitution establishes very clearly that no one can win more than
46:55the president, and those who are contending, continue to win more than the president.
46:59I mean, what message are we giving to the citizen?
47:04Hey, vote for me, but what do you think, am I the first one who is violating the constitution?
47:07Because I still have those exorbitant and excessive salaries, and we have to say it like that,
47:13that's how they are.
47:14We have a justice that has not worked for the people, it has only worked for the people
47:19of power, it is an elitist justice.
47:21Olivia, do you trust what is going to happen on June 1, that Sunday?
47:25I do trust, the truth is, I started, I registered, trusting in the reform, I consider that I have
47:31the profile to be here, I have a doctorate in human rights, I have a doctorate in judicial
47:35law, I have two master's degrees, and it is not the only thing, I can tell you, I have
47:39academic and professional experience, but I do not only have that, I am a human, sensitive
47:45person who knows the problems up close, and look, from Ciudad Juárez, which is a city
47:52that has hurt us so much, the violence, the violence against women, the feminicides,
48:01but not only that, also the issue of drug trafficking, we are a border city that has
48:07drug trafficking problems.
48:09Without a doubt.
48:10Well, Olivia, Olivia Aguirre Bonilla, thank you for these minutes, we are going to be talking
48:13in this space and in other spaces of Milenio Televisión, talking to candidates and candidates
48:19in something that is unpublished and that is forced by us as citizens and as media
48:24to know the positions, platforms and what happens.
48:28Remember us, Olivia, paper and number.
48:30Yes, my paper is the purple, vote for the 01, Olivia Aguirre for the position of Minister
48:37of the Supreme Court, the best, the only Juarense and the one who has no tail to step on.
48:41Olivia Aguirre Bonilla, thank you very much, nice to talk to you, and success.
48:45Thank you.
48:46That you are very well.
48:47Thank you.
48:49Let's go to the commercial break, we'll be back with much more.
48:56Well, in the final stretch is with us Minelli Atayde.
48:59Minelli, what a pleasure.
49:00Good evening.
49:01How are you?
49:02All good, all calm, all relaxed.
49:03A good Thursday, I was going to say Friday, but we still need it.
49:07The city of Mexico is upside down, don't even go out, there is a lot of traffic.
49:10No, no, no, it is better than staying to see, of course, Milenio, La Fision, and well, let's
49:15talk about, yesterday I was telling you about this whole issue of the World Cup, precisely
49:18of clavados, which fortunately this Mexican Federation did, just of clavados, so that
49:24our athletes could represent Mexico in the best way, with obviously the bar or country,
49:30if they win, if they go up to the podium, they can listen to the national anthem.
49:33Well, today this World Cup just started in Guadalajara.
49:36And it didn't start very well for Osmar Olvera.
49:38No, Osmar Olvera was left out of the final, sadly, double Olympic medalist in Paris 2024.
49:45And one of the strong cards for our country, but we have to mention it, right?
49:49We have good news for other athletes, like Alejandra Estudillo, who, well, let's remember
49:54that she was in the third place in the preliminary on the 10-meter women's platform, and she
49:59got her pass to the final.
50:01Also previously her partner in synchronized doubles, Gabriela Gúndez, who is now her
50:05partner, because let's remember that Alejandra Orozco, well, she already finished her career,
50:11she said goodbye, and well, now they just do a double, and well, she dominated her group
50:15too, so they will both be disputing a medal in the final test next Saturday.
50:21So we have to be very attentive.
50:22And well, the bad news, as you said, was already the subject of Osmar Olvera, who is left out
50:26of the final, three-meter trampoline, and well, the Mexicans who did advance to the
50:31final of the specialty is Juan Zelaya, who also, let's remember, is an Olympic medalist
50:36in Paris 2024.
50:37He made it to the sixth overall position, while in the eighth place is David Gabriel
50:42Vázquez.
50:43So is the situation with the Mexicans, who also advance, with the exception of Osmar
50:46Olvera, who, as we said, is one of the important cards for our country, but well.
50:52Today I was talking to Rommel Pacheco and he told me that in the middle of all this,
50:55that he is very happy to see the children get closer, because there are world figures,
50:59get closer, take pictures, yes, yes, yes, autographs, and he says, we are germinating
51:05little seeds so that those children, in the future, are the ones who represent us.
51:10You know what?
51:11How important that issue is, just that they bring this type of competition to our country,
51:15because you say it well, there are the Chinese, right?
51:17Let's remember, in fact, the silver medalist in Paris 2024 is competing and in the end,
51:24well, it is also inspiration for the children.
51:26And it is an issue that also brings a lot to CONADE in this management, that they want
51:31the children to get closer to sport and well, this type of event, without a doubt, well,
51:36they are going to get it, Jaime, because having these events in our country is very important,
51:40and well, it is also important that all this type of strade advance, right?
51:45And I imagine that you also talked about it with Rommel, with the federations.
51:48Yes, the long pants that stay where they have to stay, and the boys and girls on the trampoline,
51:53on the platforms, doing what they know how to do.
51:56Exactly, this issue, there are still issues out there, right?
51:59That evidently have also been dragging on since last management,
52:03like the issue of scholarships, right?
52:05That obviously has not been 100% resolved, but that is advancing and is walking,
52:10as obviously Rommel Pacheco's management is also advancing,
52:15but well, we will also be talking later, 23, 30 hours, in addition to everything that has happened.
52:21And talk about my foams, the draw.
52:23And well, about the draw, about your foams.
52:25They got out of the draw.
52:27At home we hope they eliminate Vancouver Wipers.
52:30We'll talk about that later.
52:31This is like Efraín.
52:32Thank you, I'm very happy.
52:34Thank you, look, take care.
52:35Good night.
52:36See you tomorrow here at 7, stay with Pedro Gamboa.
