00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World, my name's Deo Houston-Betts and today we're going to be talking a little bit about the difference that light makes to people's mood.
00:07And that's because we're only a couple of days away now from the clocks going forward and the amount of time that we spend in daylight increasing by an hour.
00:14That can make a massive difference to people's mood and how people are going to take advantage and whether they're looking forward to it.
00:19I guess it's nice in the morning where it is bright for at least a couple of hours before going into work.
00:27Whereas when it was in winter it felt like it would be dark in the morning and then I'd come home and it was dark.
00:36It is bloody amazing, that's what I'll say. I've been waiting for this my whole life, honestly. I love the sun, I love more daylight. I'm very excited.
00:46I am, yeah, because to me that signals the start of summer and that means summer holidays, it means nice weather, it means you can put your t-shirt and your shorts on, it means you can go out, you can have a late night.
00:55It was quite a rough winter to be honest, it was quite rough.
