00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Theo Kusinbert and today I'm out on the streets of Manchester asking people about lockdown and how it's impacted who they are today.
00:08We're almost five years exactly to the day since lockdown was implemented here in the United Kingdom and it's made a massive difference to many, many people's lives.
00:16Some good, but more often than not in a pretty negative way. We want to know how people have responded and how they think it's impacted who they are now.
00:23We were just there and I don't know, but when you do think about it, it's like, I didn't personally get COVID. So I was just like, I don't know, it just didn't really affect me that much.
00:31But with my family, it kind of did. But yeah, I feel like it has made us more closer and you just appreciate what you have more. So yeah, I feel like it has made me a better person.
00:39I think I really found out who I was and the things I enjoyed in lockdown because you look into yourself, you've got nothing else to do, do you?
00:46You sit there and you think, what is it actually day to day that makes me happy? And I look at that and think I've come out better on the other side.
00:52Like either like sort of self-improvement or it's kind of like you were locked in doors and then you just kind of like didn't move a lot, which was more my case.
