00:06A two-year-old boy in Quezon City was injured by a hostage.

00:11He was stabbed in the chest while his mother and father were injured.

00:15He was stabbed and was taken care of by a suspect.

00:18The hostage-taker was also arrested after being shot by a man

00:22whose father found out about his victim.

00:28This news was sensitively reported by James Agustin.

00:36A man was armed with a rifle in his right hand

00:38while a two-year-old girl was being carried

00:41on a rocket tour in Barangay Pasong, Quezon City last night.

00:46The girl was hostaged by a man who was stolen from her parents' house.

00:51The next thing we found out was that the boy was in a jeep.

00:57The suspect's wife was also in a jeep.

01:00The boy's mother and grandfather were also in a jeep.

01:03The CCTV footage shows the jeep following a barangay ambulance

01:07after it was stolen by a man.

01:09In this CCTV footage, the jeep and ambulance were driving

01:13from Visayas Avenue to Elliptical Road.

01:16They were also following the Holy Spirit Police Station

01:20who responded to the incident.

01:22When they arrived at Elliptical Road, the jeep stopped.

01:25The suspect seemed to have fainted while he was holding the child.

01:29The boy's mother was trying to stop him but he tried to stop the jeep several times.

01:35A few more minutes passed

01:37until the suspect was cornered when he came down

01:40to the corner of Elliptical Road and Quezon Avenue.

01:42This is where the boy was rescued.

01:44The suspect was cornered by the people and was immediately arrested by the police.

01:53The boy's mother was taken to the ambulance.

01:57The boy's mother tried to stop the jeep

02:00because she was cornered by the suspect several times

02:03while the father who was held by his right arm was treated by the rescuers.

02:07The boy's mother was shocked when she entered the house

02:11where the suspect and his wife were staying.

02:13We entered the room.

02:15When we entered the room, he was turning off all the lights

02:20because he was feeling dizzy.

02:23Then he took the girl's child.

02:25When he took the girl's child, my husband stabbed him.

02:33Then I pushed one of our children out of our room.

02:39He asked me to take them to Los Banos Laguna.

02:45According to the residents of the neighborhood,

02:55We caught him.

03:01He was riding it.

03:03He was about to hit it.

03:04The vehicle was scared.

03:06The motorcycle fell.

03:08The 41-year-old suspect was injured

03:10when his father found out about his child.

03:13Even though he was already in the police car,

03:15the suspect still refused to let him go

03:17and the vehicle's windows were broken.

03:19The suspect was able to recover a knife and a knife he used in the crime.

03:24The suspect is now in the custody of Holy Spirit Police Station

03:27where he is yet to be released.
