00:00It's been more than a month since the Enteng typhoon hit Manalasa.

00:07But until now, some residents of Pililya, Rizal, have not been able to recover.

00:13Their lives are still affected.

00:17That's why they were visited by the GMA Capuso Foundation to ask for help.

00:22It's hard for the residents of Barangay Takungan in Pililya, Rizal, to fish.

00:32Aside from not being able to fish, the water lilies are too thick.

00:37Some fish have almost died.

00:40Because of the large number of water lilies during the typhoon,

00:45the thickness of the water lilies prevented the boat from leaving.

00:49Even if they catch something, it's hard for them to sell it.

00:52The buyers are worried that a resident might have been affected by the typhoon.

01:00And until now, they haven't been able to recover.

01:03The people here in Pililya don't want to eat fish.

01:07Because they're afraid that people will eat fish.

01:15It's really hard for us here.

01:18We don't have fish to sell.

01:21We have fish, but when it comes to fishing, we just ask for it.

01:25To help the fishermen and other affected residents,

01:30the GMA Capuso Foundation visited Siam, a barangay in Pililya

01:35to distribute food packs and soap to more than 5,000 individuals.

01:40We also conducted a clean-up drive in Lawa.

01:44The ATF Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army

01:49is working hard to reduce the number of water lilies.

01:51And now, the residents are able to fish again.

01:56The fishermen are thankful to GMA Capuso because of their great help.
