James McAvoy tells Men's Journal his favorite meal to cook at home.

00:00Karahi chicken. It's an onion heavy Indian meal. You use like a kilo and a half of onions
00:16and half a tin of tomatoes, turmeric, garlic, ginger. Then you fry all that up in a big
00:23pot. Then you want to chuck in your chicken and at the same time you want to chuck in
00:27a tonne of garam masala. Not too much because it can get a bit medicinal but like a lot,
00:32a healthy amount, don't be shy. And then cook all that up, that'll make it all a bit browner
00:36and stuff. I then take out a little bit of the vegetables, all the onions and stuff and
00:40blend them. Then chuck it back in, maybe just like a quarter of it and it makes it more
00:44like a sauce as well. And then fresh coriander. And then chilli, you can put tonnes of chilli
00:48in it as well, like chilli peppers.
