00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. promised that the community will not be left behind in the country.

00:05This proves the 70 billion pesos worth of regional projects that can improve the lives of Filipinos.

00:18President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has approved the more than 70 billion pesos worth of projects

00:26that will improve the quality of life, food security, and infrastructure of our country.

00:34President Marcos approved the National Economic and Development Authority, or NEDA Board,

00:41for the Movement Project of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

00:46Under this, communities will have the power to choose projects that will meet their needs,

00:55such as water systems, lighting, and daycare centers.

01:01Each community can also contribute up to 50 million pesos

01:06for projects that will stop the effects of disasters and calamities.

01:11More than 500 municipalities will benefit from this project.

01:16To increase the production of rice and ensure a sufficient supply of rice,

01:22the Tumawini River Multipurpose Project in Isabela was also approved.

01:27It will bring irrigation to 8,200 hectares of rice in Kabagan, Ilagan, and Tumawini in Isabela.

01:35The Balog-Balog Multipurpose Project Phase 2 will also be included

01:39in the construction of a dam and reservoir in Zambales

01:44to irrigate almost 22,000 rice fields in the area.

01:49It's very important as of today, especially that we are about to face this kind of water crisis,

01:55water supply crisis, so we have to move faster.

01:59We have to move very systematically so that we can answer all the issues

02:06or the would-be problems in the coming months or days.

02:10The roads under the Mindanao Road Sector Project are expected to improve.

02:16After the approval of this fund, it will provide faster and better transportation.

02:22Aside from this, the current project consists of 224 projects

02:29under the Public-Private Partnership,

02:31such as the rehabilitation of Ninoy Aquino International Airport,

02:35Lagindingan International Airport, and the Metro Rail Transit Line.

02:40There are projects that can be completed by 2025-2026.

02:46There are only occasional external factors,

02:52especially in infrastructure.

02:54We need to address the right-of-way problems.

02:59The government and the administration will not be able to do it

03:03if the people, including the LGUs and the local government,

03:10do not help. If this is resolved quickly, the administration will be able to complete it.

03:15As of today, there are 175 projects that have been approved

03:21by PTV Manila, Kaleysal Tordilla, Balitang Pambansang.
