00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. wants the projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways
00:06that will greatly help the lives of Filipinos to be restored.
00:10The President approved his help along with the DPWH,
00:14where the Executive Board reached his desire for the DPWH's funds to be reimbursed
00:20for foreign-assisted projects.
00:22And because the DPWH's funds were greatly reimbursed for this year,
00:27the President wanted it to be reimbursed for projects that will benefit the people,
00:32including prioritizing agency projects, feasibility studies, and the issue of right-of-way.
00:39Under the 2025 General Appropriations Act,
00:43many of the DPWH's programs were cut from the budget.
00:47However, the overall budget of the DPWH increased by more than Php 188 billion,
00:53equivalent to Php 900 billion in the fiscal year 2025 National Expenditure Program.
