00:27President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is aiming to re-examine the important projects that were not funded under the 2025 National Budget.
00:41At the 18th Cabinet Meeting, the Executive Executive said that it is important to review and review the socio-economic programs that need to be administered in order to boost the economy and improve the lives of Filipinos.
00:58This includes the Php 500 million budget for routine maintenance of bridges, Php 12 billion for road maintenance, and Php 21 billion for feasibility studies.
01:14President Marcos will submit each government agency a list of the most important projects that need to be funded.
01:24Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista confirmed the completion of the flagship programs of President Marcos.
01:33This is followed by the approval of some infrastructure projects and problems in the right-of-way or land that is in the way of the projects,
01:43such as the North to South Commuter Railway, MRT, and other projects that will improve public transportation.
01:51We organized an inter-agency committee among certain departments like the PWAs, DOJ, OSG, DSUT, and other government agencies for us to work together.
02:13Before the end of 2024, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. approved a Php 6.32 trillion national fund for 2025.
02:26Malacanang denied the allegation that the budget of the Department of Public Works and Highways is higher than that of the education sector.
02:36According to Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the administration of President Marcos followed the constitutional mandate that prioritizes the education sector.
02:48This includes the budgets of the Philippine National Police Academy and the Armed Forces.
02:53Aside from DEPED, TESDA, State Universities and Colleges, and CHED are also part of the education sector.
