When Rebecca wins a contest, she has Baloo mail the winning ticket for her. Unfortunately, Baloo spends most of the money on food rather than postage, and now has to help speed the mail along so it can get delivered in time.
Rebecca wins a $100,000 Pazusa sweepstakes on the radio. She has until 8:00AM to mail her ticket. She checks a book on SSTISDD (Super Speed Triple-Insured Same day delivery), she sees the price of $17.50. She finds that outrageous, except to her. Rebecca seals her winning ticket into an envelope and gets ready to drive to the post office, but Molly comes in dressed as an artichoke and tells her it's time to go to her school play, which Rebecca forgotten about. She reluctantly decides to ask Baloo to mail the ticket because Baloo tends to mess up. So Molly suggests not to tell him that it's important.
When Kit and Baloo return in the Sea Duck 5 hours late, they try making up a story why they were late, but Rebecca forgives them. Rebecca asks Baloo her letter and instructs him to say S.S.T.I.S.D.D. for the Super Speed Triple-Insured Same Day Delivery. She gives him a $20 bill, but Baloo thinks it's for him for the job. Just then, Rebecca kisses him for the favor and they she and Molly take off in a taxi.
On the way to the post office, Baloo notices a Burger place and spend the money on burgers and fries instead. But when they get to the post office, they try to get the S.S.T.I.S.D.D. for the envelope, but they had only 2 cents less and a french fry left, which would be enough for 18th class service.
Back at Higher For Hire, Rebecca asks Baloo if he mailed the letter, but she doesn't know what happened earlier. She gets on the phone and starts ordering things. Baloo thinks she can't afford anything, but she excitedly tells Baloo & Kit that she won the $100,000 sweepstakes.
Baloo realizes what he's done. Baloo and Kit run to the post office and go down to the basement to find the envelope and successfully find it. The postal clerk in the 18th class division wakes up from his nap and find his first letter in 40 years. Baloo insists on taking it to Pazusa himself, but the clerk reminds him the mail can't touch it while in transit. He slowly remembers what to do in his job.
The envelope slowly makes its way to the mail boat, the S.S. Rocket, but the boat travels very slowly. Baloo lassos a rope to a speedboat to boost speed. The next step is air mail, but the old pilot's plane breaks down. They hijack the Sea Duck to the post office, but Baloo and Kit do all they can to speed their way to the sweepstakes office clerk, but Baloo is stopped by a police officer for jumping over cars, trying to get the envelope to the sweepstakes office.
