00:00Water is life. If there is water, there is tomorrow.
00:05Yes, there is a lot of importance of water in life.
00:09That is why it is said that without water, everything is empty.
00:12Today is World Water Day.
00:14And on this occasion, I will show you the story of the vitality of the water-friendly people of Bundelkhand.
00:21The story of Bundelkhand, which is struggling with drought and water crisis,
00:25is playing an important role in getting this area rid of water shortages.
00:40Some women from rural areas of Bundelkhand took up the challenge of ending the water crisis in 2011.
00:48And started the water-friendly organization.
00:51Water-friendly people have also created a water panchayat committee in the villages.
00:56Which meets at regular intervals and discusses solutions to water problems and water conservation in the villages.
01:05The water-friendly organization has been running since 2011.
01:08The water-friendly organization was creating a water-friendly panchayat committee.
01:11And all the women from the water-friendly organization, who were facing water-related problems in their villages,
01:18went to the water-friendly organization and discussed solutions to their problems.
01:37These water-friendly women, in the rainy season, make permanent bundles of sacks to stop the flow of water from the rivers.
01:44And collect the water by stopping it.
01:47Where the level of groundwater increases, this water is used for daily activities.
01:54In the rainy season, we are not able to stop the flow of water from the rivers.
01:59But in the rainy season, we are able to stop the flow of water from the rivers.
02:04So, all the women from the water-friendly organization,
02:07with the help of bundles of sacks, stop the flow of water from the rivers.
02:14And the level of groundwater increases.
02:18And we use this water for farming and other activities.
02:27In the rainy season, the pond dries up.
02:29So, we have made bundles of sacks and stopped the flow of water from the rivers.
02:39So that in the rainy season, there is no water.
02:43And there is enough water for animals and for farming.
02:50So, we make bundles of sacks and stop the flow of water from the rivers.
02:56The water-friendly women said that before the summer, they get involved in their work.
03:02And they go to the villages and do water conservation work such as making ponds and ponds.
03:08In addition, they encourage people to use water wisely.
03:13In the rainy season, we have to go to the villages and make ponds.
03:18And when the water flows, we will water the ponds.
03:21After watering the ponds, we are not getting any help from the government.
03:24But we will get some help.
03:26So, we will make bundles of sacks.
03:30We will make bundles of sacks.
03:32We will donate at least two to two and a half acres of land.
03:36The water-friendly women say that since Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the water-life mission,
03:42water is reaching every house through a tap.
03:46Earlier, they had to go many kilometers to get water.
03:50But by getting water at home, they can now give more time to their children and family.
03:56Earlier, we used to have a lot of problems with water.
04:00But since Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the water-life mission,
04:06our problems with water have been solved.
04:08Earlier, we used to have to go many kilometers to get water.
04:13But since the tap has been installed, we don't have to do all this work.
04:18Earlier, they couldn't give time to their children.
04:20Now, they are giving time to their children.
04:23The water comes cleanly and timely.
04:27So, the problem of drinking water has been solved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
04:32The water is available in sufficient quantities.
04:37Today, the water-friendly women's organization has set foot in many districts and villages of Bundelkhand.
04:44And they are committed to removing the water shortage.
04:48We have got the river and pond recharged in 500 villages.
04:52And because of the river recharge, the water level in our village has increased.
05:01And we don't have any problem with water.
05:03For example, when the water is in the pond, the head pump water doesn't dry up.
05:09And our buses don't have any problem.
05:12Water-friendly women have also received many awards for their work related to water conservation.
05:17These awards encourage them to remove the water shortage.
05:22The water-friendly woman, Babita Rathi, was honoured by the Prime Minister.
05:31And Ganga Rajput, who had made a very big bond, was honoured by President Murmur.
05:40And there are many leaders through whom we have been honoured.
05:44We are very happy as water-friendly women.
05:47Because till now, there was no population to allow women to go out.
05:54And there was no point in saying anything.
05:57No one allowed people to go out.
05:59But since we have started working on water, we have started going out.
06:03We have started going to the media.
06:05We have started meeting big people.
06:07In the rural areas of Damoh in Madhya Pradesh, water-friendly women are committed to solving the water crisis.
06:14The water-friendly women of the Sailwada Gram Panchayat of the Tendukhera block of Damoh said that
06:20they go among the villagers and inform them about water management, safety and better use.
06:27They also tell them about the methods of collecting rainwater, cleaning the ponds and ponds and saving water.
06:35I went to the Gram Panchayat and explained to everyone how to save water.
06:39And I explained the importance of water to everyone.
06:44And I also explained the importance of water to everyone.
06:51We have tried a lot.
06:53For example, there was garbage in the ponds.
06:56We made a group of people and got everyone together.
07:00We got the cleaners, gardeners, and the asayans and jyotis together.
07:05We all tried a lot.
07:06And the water that was wasted, which was flowing in the streets and drains,
07:10we tried a lot to make sure that the waste water doesn't go and everyone doesn't have to save water.
07:15For example, there was a well.
07:18When the garbage collects in it, the ponds close.
07:21So, to clean it, they told us to clean it and the ponds would start.
07:29In Bundelkhand, the story of the water friends involved in solving the water crisis is inspiring.
07:35Like Bundelkhand, many areas of the country and the world are struggling with serious water crises.
07:41Water is priceless.
07:42And to explain the importance of water in life,
07:45World Water Day is celebrated every year on March 22.
