00:00There was a report suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on doubling their money with
00:15the Gray family and signing Harry Gray from Leeds as well. I mean this really comes as
00:21news to nobody really that big clubs in the Premier League are looking at a 16 year old
00:26who's scoring goals and playing regularly for the under-21s, particularly when they
00:31signed his older brother who appears to be quite good at Premier League level last summer.
00:36So again, whether the validity of the report is something to be debated, but again, it's
00:44not a surprise. This is how football clubs operate. Something would be wrong if bigger
00:52Premier League clubs weren't looking at your best young prospects because you clearly wouldn't
00:57be producing talented players.
00:59Yeah, I mean I would liken that report in terms of its impact on me to a report that
01:06the Pope is an enormous fan of Roman Catholicism. It's just, and I don't mean Adam Pope, it
01:17is what it is. They've known about him for years. Everyone in English football knew about
01:21Archie Gray, but they also knew about Harry Gray and there were overtures made to Archie
01:27when he was very young. Well, they obviously didn't make the overtures to Archie himself,
01:32but interest was made very obvious. There were a lot of scouts at a lot of games and
01:38clubs, as they will do, will make it known that they're keen. And it's exactly the same
01:46with Harry because he's been playing up for years. He's been scoring boatloads of
01:51goals for years. They're aware of every young player who is doing very good things
01:58at his club. So it's not really news at all.
