00:00Every sire hopes to have a son to follow in his footsteps.
00:04An impressive debut.
00:06For Munnings, that son is Jack Christopher.
00:09Jack Christopher to win the champagne.
00:11Unbeaten grade one winner at two.
00:14Dual grade one winner at three.
00:17And he is pouring it on here.
00:19It is Jack Christopher winning the grade one H. Allen Jerkins Memorial.
00:25Jack Christopher.
00:30Well it's time for the Coolmore Stallion of the Week.
00:33And this week it is Jack Christopher.
00:35His first folds are on the ground.
00:37And they are cracker jacks indeed.
00:40Here's a look at some of them.
00:42And we're going to start off with a colt out of Laurel Canyon.
00:45Bred by I Hope Farms LLC.
00:48Now let's take a look at a colt out of, not by, out of Wise Strike.
00:54Who is bred by Black Ridge Stables.
00:57And finally, we're going to take a look at a filly out of My Sugar Bear.
01:00Bred by Alan Poindexter.
01:02Zoe, you have talked a lot on this podcast about how much you like Jack Christopher.
01:07What a good mover he is.
01:09What a good racehorse he was.
01:11What do you think about his folds?
01:12What have you seen?
01:13Cracker jack.
01:14Did you just make that up, Bill?
01:15I kind of like that.
01:16No, somebody above my pay grade came up with that.
01:20Well, I'm going to agree with them.
01:23Cracker jack is a very apt word.
01:25Listen, Jack Christopher is a son of Munnings.
01:28And the one thing that's really surprised me by all the foals that we've seen thus far,
01:33obviously they're all very cute and I've never seen a really uncute foal.
01:37But he's throwing foals with a lot of leg, which is really what I want to see from Jack Christopher.
01:42Because he was more of a blocky son of Munnings.
01:45And the fact that he's able to throw these babies with a good bit of leg,
01:49they look very athletic.
01:51And there are some beautiful pictures of these foals dancing and bouncing around the paddocks.
01:56I like what I've seen so far.
01:57I really do.
01:58So in the human world, there are ugly babies.
02:01You've never seen an uncute foal?
02:04No, and I've seen plenty of ugly babies.
02:06You are correct.
02:07But there is no such thing as an ugly foal.
02:11Other than I mentioned before, one that I have bred that looks like one.
02:15But no, foals are very cute.
02:18I obviously have no children.
02:20Jack Christopher, a three-time grade one winner by Munnings, stands at Coolmore.
