00:12We spoke with Bill Farish on how the first books for the two new stallions are shaping

00:18Cote of Honor is off to a great start, breeders seem very excited to breed to him.
00:26He's got a very interesting cross-section of mares.
00:30I think being a binobal mission, but a dirt horse, it really presents breeders with an
00:39interesting dilemma because they, you know, do you breed a dirt mare to him, dirt family
00:44or do you breed a turf family?
00:45And we're kind of taking the approach that both would be an interesting way to go.
00:50So we're, we're, we're breeding both dirt and turf to him and it'll be, it'll be very
00:56interesting to see.
00:57I think, I think he'll have success with both.
01:00We, we, you know, we, we bought 18 mares in the November sale to breed to him, specifically
01:06to breed to him.
01:07And again, kind of a cross-section, you know, if you run some of them through the, the nicking
01:13software, they don't come out so well because, you know, breeding an AP Indy mare to a saddler
01:20Wells line stallion hasn't been, first of all, it hadn't been tried very much, but we
01:25think with this horse, with the, his affinity for dirt, you know, it should have a good
01:31chance of working.
01:33It was just such an exciting horse as a race horse for us.
01:37It was a bit of a surprise when, when Suge first called and said, look, this, this horse
01:42is the real deal.
01:43He was a gutsy, gutsy race horse.
01:47He really, he tried really hard in all his races, of course, won Travers for us, won
01:53the Jack Club Gold Cup, just a phenomenal horse.
01:58And when, you know, you really dream about, about getting it, it's real thrills for mom
02:09and dad, obviously, and it's great, great for the farm to get him back here as a stallion
02:14prospect.
02:16Lexitonian is a really exciting horse for us, our first son of Spicetown.
02:22It's exciting for us to get a grade one winning son of his.
02:26Brad Kelly of Calumet fame has entrusted us to stand him and we're really excited to have
02:34him for him.
02:35Well, I think breeders love his, him physically, you know, he's a speedy, good looking son
02:40of Spicetown and, and that's a very, you know, very appealing in the market.
02:45He exhibited amazing consistency throughout his career.
02:52His race in the Vanderbilt really stands out as a, as a incredible run.
02:57You know, you're, you're there at Saratoga, it's a grade one, you've got a field of grade
03:02one winners.
03:03You have a champion in Whitmore and it was just a big, big day for him and to come out
03:09on top in that field was, was really impressive and really stamped him as a stallion prospect.
03:15On the inside, Lexitonian and then Whitmore, Lexitonian comes back on the inside to win
03:21it.
03:22Both Code of Honor and Lexitonian ran over 20 times, sound, consistent, grade one winning
03:29young horses and, and both give breeders a chance to very fair introductory prices to
03:37breed to grade one winning horses with, with super pedigrees.
