00:09The head of the Philippine Sports Commission, Chairperson Richard Bachman, held an oath-taking and induction ceremony
00:16following the PSA forum at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Tung Martis.
00:20The former president is Francis T.J. Ochoa Jr. of Inquirer.
00:24The second president is Jasmine Payo of Rappler.
00:27The secretary-general is Ramon Bonilla of Manila Bulletin.
00:30The treasurer is Jerry Ramos of Spin.ph.
00:33The auditor is Ramil Cruz of Avanti Tonight.
00:35And the assistant secretary is Emil Noguera of Manila Times.
00:39Meanwhile, the outgoing president, Nelson Beltran of Philippine Star, will serve as chairman of the board.
00:45On his behalf, after the oath-taking ceremony, Ochoa promised that he will continue his strength
00:51along with the sports scribes here in the Philippines.
00:56And I hope to be able to continue their success and even bring the PSA to become more publicly relevant
01:05and to enforce the constitution most of all because I think one of the important things that the constitution stresses
01:12is that we are going to protect the rights of our sports writers.
