00:00A legal expert believes that former President Rodrigo Duterte's assets could be freezed

00:07because of the cases he is facing in his interview on Radyo Pilipinas.

00:12ICC Assistant to Council Atty. Cristina Conte said that it is up to the prosecutors

00:19if they will issue a motion to request it to the court.

00:22He also emphasized the importance of timing in filing a motion regarding this,

00:28especially since the former President is not yet convicted.

00:32As for the witnesses, Atty. Conte laid out the possible suspects

00:41including the children of the victims of the Umanoy extrajudicial killings,

00:46as well as the DDS or Davao Death Squad like Edgar Mato-Bato and Arturo Lascañas.

00:55If it is a presentation of a case, it should be proven that there was a murder,

01:02someone ordered the murder, and how the murder happened.

01:05What I would like to say to the general public is,

01:08let's not speculate who it is because it could be a security risk.

01:14But it should be categorized.

01:17First, you can have factual witnesses on what happened and how the victim died.

01:22You can also have factual witnesses who can say how the murder was ordered.

01:29That is called insider witness precisely.

01:33You can also have witnesses who can say what happened in our area and how many people were killed.

01:41They are called pattern witnesses.

01:45You can also have expert witnesses.

01:48Those are the usual people we talk to in the court, experts on the crime scene, etc.
