Today RJ and Bobby questioned all the rumors surrounding Aaron Rodgers; is he holding the NFL hostage, and which team was he most likely to end up with? We broke down the latest rumors and possibilities. Bobby also discussed the Cooper Kupp sweepstakes and why the Cowboys had pulled out for now. He argued that Jerry Jones was too hesitant to pay players their market value, which was the main reason they weren’t pursuing Kupp. Bobby ranted that the Cowboys couldn’t afford to be scared to spend money because in the NFL, you’ve got to pay to play.

00:00But Cup is just a guy that he's probably looking at a market right now that he thinks he's
00:20got more robust options than the Cowboys are willing to pay. Here's the issue and we've
00:25said this about the Cowboys for the last couple days. You have to pay to play. Yeah. If you
00:31don't want to play, don't want to like, here's the thing. If you don't want to pay market
00:34value, which is above what you think you're, it's like dealing with my wife on their own
00:40market.
00:42Kristen has her own ideas on how much things should cost and she refuses to pay for them
00:45if they're above it. It's like, well, sorry, that's not how much the world says they cost.
00:49So you just are saying you don't want that then like period. Don't tell me like, well,
00:53I really want to get this, but not for that price or well, then you don't want to get
00:56it because that's what it costs.
00:57And that's the same thing with the Cowboys. Don't tell me you want to address this or
01:01get this or get that and then not pay for it. It costs money. You either pay for it
01:06or you tell me you don't want it. I used to work with a guy named Kevin Kiley. I know
01:13Kevin Kiley and Kylie and also sounds like my Mickey impression too. I think everybody
01:19sounds like Mickey or Trump or fish. I don't have a whole lot of range, but not a whole
01:28lot of rage, but a little bit of rage without a whole lot of range. I have a better beard
01:33than Kiana. Yes. But he said there's just this thing is market value. That was his thing.
01:38There's just this thing is market value. And I think he owned a sporting goods store somewhere.
01:42So he thought he knew everything about business, but he would say there's just this thing is
01:47market value. Let me tell you how much this Easton back costs. Okay. But I was like, that's
01:55a wild take. There's this thing is market value, but I think the Cowboys obviously feel
01:58the same way. There's this thing is market value because there's no market and they're
02:01wrong. We set the market. The market is what we say it is. That's their viewpoint. Yeah.
02:05And that's incorrect because when you're dealing with free agency, there's absolutely a market.
02:11There's a market because there's somebody else that will throw the market off. See,
02:16Jerry comes from where I can negotiate you down. That's the world he comes from because
02:21every now and then they get somebody like Osa who wants to be here and is willing to
02:26do that for them. See, that's the thing. They didn't win any negotiation with Osa. That
02:31was Osa being benevolent and saying, I will give you this benevolent. That's what he is.
02:38I will provide this for you. I will allow you to sign me at $20 million. I know what
02:44it says. This is what I want. At the end of the day, the power is still with Osa. That's
02:48nothing you did. That's what Osa wanted. Osa wanted to be here.
02:52Cup is just too expensive for what the Cowboys want. Cooper Cooper. Yeah. Or at least right
02:57now he is. Yeah. They don't want to play in those waters. However much that ends up being.
03:03But this has been a routine issue of we don't want to spend what it takes. All right. Then
03:08you don't want to win.
