00:00I think what Ryan Poles was saying is that the draft opened up for Ben Johnson and if
00:09the way I interpreted that, if there's a player that they're enamored with, fixated on even,
00:17a guy like Ashton Gente, I think it's in play.
00:21What he did there was open up every conversation about Ashton Gente and make it plausible and
00:27make it defensible and justify the interest and possibility.
00:33Because when he says open things up, he's talking about everything from Ashton Gente
00:38to an edge rusher or the best offensive tackle remaining if Will Campbell and Kelvin Banks
00:45go off the board first, Mambu from Missouri perhaps.
00:50You say, why do you need an offensive tackle if you've got five starters right now in your
00:54offensive line?
00:55It's because they're going to get older and that's the way you keep a strength of strength.
01:00Look at the Eagles as an example.
01:02Look at the good teams as a model.
01:04They continue to stockpile good, capable offensive linemen or defensive linemen.
01:10So you can go every area if you want and justify that direction.
01:16So Ryan Poles, that's probably part of why he was so happy and smiling.
01:21Because when you fill five starting positions in less than five days with veterans that
01:28you trust and are capable and accomplished, you now have draft flexibility and it's going
01:35to be a fun draft season because of that.
