00:00The question is, George McCaskey and Kevin Warren called you up to help get the Bears back on track.
00:09What would you advise them to do? Oh, boy. Where do you start? This is only a four-hour show,
00:16Biggsie. Remember. But honestly, it's the most important question facing this team going forward.
00:24What are they going to do? Yeah, they've got to get the right coach, and then they've got to get
00:32better at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I hate to oversimplify it. David,
00:45who's off today, got all over me about me saying no big deal the Bears didn't reach out to Bill
00:51Belichick before he packed up his stuff and moved to Chapel Hill. You could learn from him,
01:01and I get his point, but my rebuttal to his point is there's not a secret sauce to what's
01:09missing here, right? Bill isn't going to go through the roster position by position
01:17and, in my opinion, tell you something you don't know. They've got to get it right,
01:27and then they've got to get some better players at some key positions. You look at the Packers
01:33last night, and you saw what they did to a really bad New Orleans team with a backup quarterback in
01:42place. The Packers seemingly just do it year after year. They find a way to get linemen on
01:53both sides of the ball. They don't spend huge capital on wide receivers, right? The last wide
02:02receiver they drafted in the first round was Javon Walker, and they've nailed the quarterback
02:07position, and so they've been a model of consistency.
