A 'mother goose' has been fitted with a high-vis jacket to protect her flock during walks in the Hebrides.
Kate Macleod, 28, from Uig, Isle of Lewis, had the jacket made for Rupert, a Chinese goose who leads the group, to keep her safe from cars.
Kate, who hand-raised the geese, takes them on regular adventures but became extra cautious after losing previous flocks to otters.
The jacket, made by a seamstress friend, is a prototype, with Kate hoping to create more for her geese in the future.
