00:35the Flashback Ronaldo card, right? So Flashback Ronaldo is going to be somebody who is a 5-star,
00:425-star player, 6'2", CR7 body type obviously. This card is a little bit strangely formatted,
00:54just a little bit. He kind of looks like a card you give an engine to, to be completely honest
00:58with you. A little bit. Engine, chemistry style, finesse shots with a rapid plus.
01:09Yeah, okay, so finesse shot plus rapid. What roles does he have?
01:14Okay, you know what's cool? He actually has like left-wing stuff, so you could technically use some
01:18stuff there, but it is mainly going to be used as an advanced forward striker, let's be real, right?
01:23With this card, I mean, you could go down the direction of giving him a hunter as well,
01:28because there is the added variable with him where he is a lengthy player. That's like a
01:33really big thing, because they kind of formatted the card in that way, which is why it's gonna
01:37gonna be interesting to try him out, because these cards over here, I don't even know what
01:41you would give these cards before. I guess there was like an engine as well. I don't know if many
01:46people would actually use them on the lengthy, right? But yeah, with Flashback Ronaldo, either
01:52an engine or a hunter, like a hunter gives him that shooting boost while giving him the pace
01:56boost, right? But then it'd be one of those things where it's like you have to work with the dribbling,
01:59but it depends on what the body type is like. So those things we are going to be experimenting
02:03with in-game, right? Passing on the card is in a decent area. He has power shots, power header,
02:10technical flair, trickster, quick step. So quick step with a rapid. He also has tree velloc,
02:14acrobatic, and an aerial, so he could win some situations in the air as well, because with him
02:19being Ronaldo, it is someone that you could potentially work with. So yeah, I think it's
02:26a lot of squads for this guy. A lot of squads. So we're gonna go ahead and get started on that.
02:31But yeah, we'll be using him in the striker position for the most part. I mean, you can
02:36use him on the left-hand side with the inside forward, but we'll see if we kind of get to that
02:41point, right? So yeah, let's see how he plays, man. Hopefully he's a beast. All right, Ronaldo,

14:32but I don't think people are going to give him a lengthy, to be honest with you guys.

18:49So, we did try him mostly in the striker position,
18:52and then we just had, like, the one game where we tried him on the left-hand side.
18:55And to be completely honest with you guys,
18:58he could still play the left-hand side really well.
19:00It's kind of funny because, like, we did a review one time for Jota, right?
19:04I'm not comparing, by the way. I'm just showing you something.
19:07So, roles-wise, Jota...
19:10Give it a second.
19:12Roles-wise, Jota has the advanced forward striker,
19:14and then he has, like, the inside forward on the left-hand side.
19:17So, even if they just have one,
19:19they'll still play those positions really well.
19:21And in Ronaldo's case, because he is a 5-star, 5-star player,
19:25you're cutting inside with him to go for the finesse shots.
19:28He's still going to do a pretty solid job at hitting those things, right?
19:31We were able to hit some finesse shots with his 5-star weak foot as well.
19:34The only thing with, like, taller players like this
19:36is that there's more of an inconsistency when you're outside the 18,
19:40compared to, like, some of the shorter players.
19:42It's because of the center of gravity in the game and stuff.
19:44Like, when they're shorter, they just kind of, like, hit them a specific way.
19:47But he still hits them very nicely, right?
19:49It's a great play style to have on his card.
19:51I think with Rapid, with how that plays out in-game,
19:56it feels like, in order for you to, like, really have the pace out of the card,
20:00like, let's say, for those of you that have done the...
20:02For Nanotaurus SPC, like, that card,
20:04it's like you got to give him a hunter,
20:06and you just deal with the dribbling as it is,
20:08if you want to utilize the pace in that way.
20:10But, yeah, for me, the engine, I think,
20:12just feels generally a little bit better to work with.
20:15Yes, his body type does still have, like, a physical feel to it,
20:20but not in comparison to some of the other cards that feel absolutely horrendous, right?
20:25Because what I think he makes up for
20:27in dribbling being a little bit off from time to time
20:30is obviously in the skill move department,
20:32and then attacking AI to get into the right positions at the right time
20:35to score certain opportunities.
20:37I think with this card, it would have been really cool
20:41if they provided him with the first touch, right?
20:43A first touch definitely would have been very helpful.
20:47I think for me, personally,
20:48and maybe some people may or may not agree with this,
20:50but I think if they replaced the Rapid with a first touch plus,
20:53and then they gave a regular Rapid,
20:54I think he would have been absolutely disgusting.
20:57And even if you kept the dribbling stats as it is.
20:59But yeah, shooting animations-wise, it was interesting,
21:02because for me, my concern was,
21:03oh, I'm not boosting the finishing because it's out of 93,
21:06and is that really going to be that big of an issue?
21:10I don't know what it is, man,
21:11but you guys can see it in the game.
21:12Like, the way he strikes the ball,
21:14it's almost like he has his own, like, unique animations
21:16with the way that it comes off.
21:17Because some of these shots are coming off so slow sometimes,
21:21and then so fast at the same time,
21:23where I'm like, how is this going?
21:25Like, it seems so off, but it's like, it goes in.
21:28You know what I'm saying?
21:29And it was really important to see that
21:31he was able to score those opportunities,
21:33even if I didn't green them a lot of the times, right?
21:36So that's really important too,
21:37just in case you don't really get that sort of situation, right?
21:40So I think generally speaking,
21:41like, I think the only real thing that people will have complaints about
21:44when it comes to this SPC is obviously going to be the price range.
21:47But if we're looking at how the card generally performs in game,
21:51I think they still did a very solid job with him.
21:53Like, I still don't mind having the Rapid on him, right?
21:56Like, would I have preferred something else? Sure.
21:59But it's not like it's a nuisance.
22:01Like, it's not like they're...
22:02It's not like Mbappe player of the month,
22:04where they give him like a trickster plus.
22:05Like, brother, I don't want a trickster plus on Mbappe.
22:07You know what I'm saying?
22:08But a Rapid, it almost...
22:10It's actually funny,
22:11because it's almost like it's like compensating, you know?
22:13But because you're giving him an engine,
22:15and you're not boosting the pace more,
22:17that's where it's not working with the Rapid more.
22:20That's why I'm saying, like, generally speaking,
22:22I think our first touch plus would have been nasty for him.
22:24I think they know, too, for sure,
22:25with the way that they format the cards,
22:27because it's like, oh, yeah, you know,
22:28I give him a Hunter.
22:29He's a lengthy.
22:30And to be honest,
22:31some of you guys might actually use him in that way,
22:32because you want the pace to get through on goal and stuff.
22:34Sure, you could totally do that.
22:36Boost his pace to be as high as possible.
22:38But I don't know.
22:40For me, I just like to be able to dribble in some situations
22:43and actually work with the build-up play.
22:44So, no, I still thought he was great.
22:46The five-star weak foot being added,
22:48which should be by default, by the way.
22:49This guy's a top 10 left-footed goal scorer in history.
22:53And they just don't give up.
22:54Did they give it to his team of the year?
22:56They didn't even give it to his team of the year.
22:58At least for the SBC, they gave it to him.
23:00Because it's noticeable.
23:01It is noticeable to have a five-star weak foot on him.
23:03100%, bro.
23:04So, I mean, at the end of the day, guys,
23:06it's flashback Ronaldo.
23:07Is he a ton of fun to use in the game?

23:09Is he that hard to link?
23:10Not really, to be honest.
23:11Portuguese, I think you should have a lot of Portuguese players
23:13to work with at this point.

23:18So you could still use a Vitinha.

23:25But, yeah, there's a few Portuguese guys.
23:27There's going to be a few, like, Saudi League players
23:29that you might be able to work with and stuff, too.

23:32I'm just happy that he doesn't perform like garbage.

23:53In the striker position, that general movement,
23:55especially in the currents, man, with the 4-2-1-3,
23:57he positions himself well,
23:59involves himself in the play with other people really nicely.
24:01And you know what was great?
24:02He was actually able to pass the ball nicely, too.
24:04He doesn't even have, like, that...
24:05He doesn't even have passing play styles,
24:06but he still passed the ball nicely.
24:07Like, it's important to have the Advanced Forward
24:09to kind of, like, drop in, do one little turn,
24:11and then a through pass or a regular pass
24:13and still do a pretty solid job.
24:15So, yeah, still pretty cool as an SBC.
24:17We needed something like this
24:19to have fun in this game, to be honest,
24:21because the content has been a little bit sussy.
24:24But this is a really cool card to use.
24:26He scored a lot of goals for me, man.
24:27A lot of goals got involved really nicely.
24:29Meta-wise, though, the only thing
24:31that you're going to have to work with sometimes
24:33is left stick dribbling, physical feel,
24:35but he compensates in other areas, to be honest with you,
24:37and the fact that when you give him an engine,
24:39you don't have higher acceleration and sprint speed
24:41for those, like, really breakthrough-on-goals
24:43sort of opportunities,
24:45unless you give him a hunter chemistry style,
24:47but then you're doing the trade-off
24:48with lower dribbling capabilities,
24:50which is going to make him feel even more physical.
24:52So that's just the trade-off
24:54that you're going to have to deal with.
24:55But, yeah, if you use him as an Advanced Forward striker,
24:57he'll do a great job.
24:58The 5-star weak foot is a huge add to him
25:00so that you can score opportunities with a finesse
25:02or a Trevella, or not Trevella, but regular opportunities.
25:05And, yeah, it's all about getting that
25:07one little bit of space in this game
25:08and then scoring right afterwards.
25:09That counts the most.
25:10So, yeah.
