00:00Let's say you get, you get two moves. You are Nick Cacere. You are D'Amico Ryan. You
00:06got two moves. And this is make moves via trade, via free agency. I'm talking like off-season
00:19moves before the draft. You could do that. You get two moves and I mean realistic moves,
00:25right? Not that, Hey, I'm going to make a trade for us to get Jamar Chase in. No,
00:31I'm talking realistic moves. You have two moves out there that are teams that are
00:36players that could be on the block or free agents out there. And there are a lot of
00:40them out there, right? We just heard Devontae Adams. That's one who just hit the
00:45market. We know Cooper cup is a trade candidate. There are a lot of there. You
00:50got two moves to make realistic moves. Which one do you go on with? I'd say one of
00:56mine, Clint. Yeah. Give it to me. My first thing is free agent. And I would go after
01:02the guard from the Colts will fries. Okay. I think to me, he is the top realistic guard
01:10candidate on the market with Trey Smith being franchise tag in works, trying to get a
01:15long-term deal with the chiefs. He is the next one on the list. A above average run
01:20blocker, but above average pass blocker. Um, and you know, a good little extra part
01:27of it, you're taking them away from the Colts, a division opponent, but I think he
01:32feels the biggest feels the biggest need on this team. And as I've said before, I'm
01:38also taking draft in, in, into account. And I would much rather them have somebody
01:44that's a proven player in the league that has had proven six pretty good idea of what
01:51you're getting. And that would be where I would go. That would be my first priority
01:56right now. It does not look like he is going to get franchise tag. That is where I would
02:00go. If I were the text. Yeah, look, I would not be mad at that at all. Um, I'm going to
02:07go, I'm going to go a little different route. I would go center drew Dolman. That was in
02:11Atlanta. Um, and again, I know look before, before everybody starts jumping here, I understand,
02:17you know, that he is a, he is a, a, an accomplished run blocking center there, there, you know,
02:24he, he obviously, um, that's his strong suit. So there, there is some past protecting, uh,
02:30you know, uh, uh, growth and development that needs to take place there. I think that's
02:33going to be the case with every one of these young guys. Um, but I, I think the center
02:38is key here. I think getting a center that can one communicate and to get the job done,
02:44I think is key. If he can communicate the ripple effect across the, the guards and tackles
02:48is absolutely tremendous. Again, Nick Kaley, uh, has, has handcuffs on as long as his center
02:55can't communicate, right? Regardless of whether it's a strong suit is run, blocking pass,
02:59like that matter until you find a center that can communicate and has done it at a high
03:03level, you're going to have problems. And so I would go with center drew Dallman. And
03:10then I, I mean, I might as well go ahead and give you my second one. If you're going to
03:13take fries, I'm going to take a Kevin Ziegler, Zeitler, Ziegler. So you're going, so you're
03:18to, if you got, so anything you want in the, via free agency trade, you're going to guys
03:24interior. I'm going center guard. One of them. And I know, look, these are realistic, right?
03:30We're talking about it's been with Detroit. Um, we're talking about a guy that is 34 years old,
03:34but, but put up some of his best advanced stat numbers, um, you know, the last couple of years.
03:40And so, uh, Kevin, Kevin, uh, Zeitler's is a Ziegler Ziegler. I think it's either one of them.
03:49He's older. So he's going to be, he's going to be a cheaper, uh, route that they can go. So
03:53I think it's, it's realistic. I'd go center guard right there. And your new line would be
04:00I'd go have my two tackles that I paid big money to be tonsil and Titus tonsil and Titus. I would
04:05be my two tackles. I'd have, I've had Ziegler at, at, at, at right guard and have dominant, uh,
04:11at, at center. And my other guard would be a competition, uh, but probably would be juice
04:17grubs. I would, I would bring in more. I would bring in more depth. Now Patterson would be my
04:22backup center, but yeah, he could be a backup guard because he came in and Patterson could be
04:26your swing center guard that that could be, that could back up all three middle positions. Yeah,
04:30you can do that. Um, but yeah, I, I would go to offensive line. If I had it my way, I'd go
04:35to offensive lineman, interesting to interior offensive lineman, put my tackles back where
04:40they belong. One being a, a, a, a younger, not, not top of the market caliber center.
04:47And the other option being an older, um, obviously cheaper option at the guard position,
04:52but I, I would, I would make that move. I want to give my second one, but I want to put a pin
04:57into your first one. I do want to, I want to discuss that one further because I did, I put
05:02out a poll. I completely forgot. I did. And that, that gave me a thought of it. My second one,
05:10first realistic, these are realistic ones. You can throw yours out as well on the Jim Adler,
05:14the Texas hammer text line, 7 1 3 5 7 2 4 6 10 YouTube and Twitch. If you have the ability
05:20to make two moves, you're Nick Casario, you're Domenico Ryan's two moves,
05:25whether that be getting somebody in a trade and realistic guys that are on the trade block
05:31and guys that potentially are free agents that you could bring in two moves.
05:36What are the moves that you would make? My second one would be defensive tackle. Jonathan.
05:43I think that is one that is realistic. That's a proven one. And that is a proven one. And,
05:49um, as we've talked about it, I don't, I don't know how many other areas across the defense.
05:56You feel like you can, that you really need a lot of assistance on maybe safety,
06:04but I love sticking him in the middle of the, of the defense. I would love putting him and
06:10thinking about pass rush nets. And he's somebody who played the run as well, but I mean, starting
06:15to get a sports Woody with the thought of on one side, Daniel Hunter on one side, Will Anderson,
06:24and then on the inside, Jonathan Allen and, uh, and Danico Autry on pass rushing down,
06:31just as a football fan and a guy who loves pass rushers and defense.
06:35That is, that is a fun group of four that, that looks like a group that could,
06:40that could do what the Eagles did to the chiefs. And I think it is realistic.
06:44He comes in a cheaper than what Debo Samuel was going to, uh, for trade. So those would be my two
06:53moves. I'd go for the guard, the top guard on it. And then Jonathan Allen on there. I want to,
06:59I want to get to, to some people, some people, someone just texting you guys are acting like God,
07:05all this cap money. There's a big article on bleacher report on how the Texas are in
07:09trouble with the cap, even though they've got a quarterback. Okay. Okay. You can, you,
07:15you can go ahead and believe that, that they don't have the ability to go get a guard and
07:21tackle. You go ahead, you go, you go ahead and believe that. All right. You can,
07:25you can read whatever you want to. You go ahead and believe that you make sure you make that,
07:30add that up with other teams in the league and you go ahead and believe that.
07:34But I'm going to, I'm going to stick in here. Reality.
07:35Well, wait, let's say you're right. Text her. Let's say you're right. You're not the Texans
07:42need to do if they're right. The Texans need to, and would do things like Seattle did today,
07:49cut four players and cleared up $28 million worth of cap space. Like, like the, the thought of the
07:55Texans aren't going to, going to make free agent moves this year to feel voids, whether it's
08:03into your offensive line, wide receiver or defensive tackle to think that they're going
08:07to sit steady and take cheap, like cheap, cheaper than what I just said. I just had 34,
08:1134 year old guard for crying out loud. I mean, like if, if you don't think that they're going
08:16to make those kinds of moves and can make, I mean, I don't know, I don't know what the hell
08:21you like. You think that's, that's wild to me. Like, I just don't like the thought that the
08:26salary cap is going to keep in the necessary moves, whatever that may be right to, to get,
08:34to get this, give this team the best chance to take the next step to me is crazy. What'd you
08:39say? Tyler, the Cowboys just cleared like over $20 million with the, with the restructure of
08:45CD lambs. I believe that's right. Yeah. He just got, who just signed a deal last year.
08:49They restructured them. I don't have time to have, whether you're restructuring your big money guys
08:55or you're, or you're cutting guys that are, that can clear cap space. Either way it goes,
09:00the, the, the Texans are going to find a way to bring in. They're not going to feel the D tackle
09:06void, which by the way is probably bigger than I give it credit for. It's it's, it's D'Amico
09:10Ryan's. It's inside of the ball. I mean, D'Amico Ryan's is pretty adamant about it. When he spoke
09:14with the com like, yeah, I mean, made it, made it sound even more dire than I thought. Right.
09:18But the interior defensive line, the interior offensive line and the wide receiver position,
09:22I think you can add even safety out there. Given the free agents that, that, that, that, that are,
09:26that are the Texans that are free agents now, like to think, do you really think they're going
09:31to go out there and they're going to fill this void with, with, with like super cheap players
09:35in the draft and then expect to go out there and forget about the winning aspect of it.
09:42Like, do you think they're going to take a shot on an interior, like a couple of different
09:46into unproven offensive linemen on the interior and then roll CJ Stroud back out there and let
09:51him get pummeled again? Like, I just don't know. The, the salary cap stuff is wild to me, man.
09:57And I'm not as, as stern about you. Like it's not even real, but man, I mean, to think that
10:02they can't figure out a way to fix the interior offensive line because they're just so cap
10:05stretch and we're talking about drew Dallman and, and, and, I mean, I mean, what are we doing here?
10:12They did it last year. They restructured guys to give them even more cushion. They did last year.
10:21It's wild. I do want to, I do want to touch this, this, I like your center thing. I'm growing a
10:27little more stronger on the center thing. I, I, I think you just, just looked at it and thought,
10:32boy, guard was so rough last year that they met, but center is the center on the offensive line is
10:41more important than your guard. Like it's, it's a, it's a, you would rather your, you would rather
10:46if the three of them up there to your best player, you'd rather it be your center than one
10:50of your, your two guards of the three of them. Yeah. Total package. Yeah. Absolutely. Look,
10:56look, I'm Jared Patterson. Truth be told. I wish I had more inside information on Jared Patterson.
11:02There is a chance. Now I don't think that Nick and D'Amico from an ego perspective are going to,
11:08are going to just, I think they're going to try to force juice to be a center.
11:13Um, but, but there there's, well, I mean, he's just physically a better, significantly better
11:18player than Jared Patterson, but the reality of it is, is I don't have a problem. My offensive line
11:23with a lesser player physically in Jared Patterson, who by the way, gives, gives all
11:28out effort every damn play and is going to make more plays, uh, than he's going to miss.
11:33Uh, but if he's an elite communicator, I would say, Hey, I'm cool with Jared Patterson and center.
11:37And I, and I would do some other things. I just don't know how they feel about Jared Patterson.
11:41I don't know how, is he a very, very cerebral player and he, is he that good of a communicator?
11:46Um, if that is the case, I would guard instead of a guard center.
