00:00Cuba's foreign minister, Bruno RodrĂguez, announced the rise of neo-fascism at a global
00:05level after a retreat of policies to support vulnerable groups in the West.
00:20We note with great concern the advance of conservative and neo-fascist platforms and
00:26how developed countries are experiencing decades of regression on fundamental rights, including
00:31women's equality, sexual and reproductive rights, the rights of Afro-descendants, ethnic
00:38minorities and migrants.
00:41Attempts by Western countries to turn this council into a repressor against countries
00:45that do not subordinate themselves to their interests are unacceptable and jeopardize
00:50its credibility and existence.
00:53The grim history of the implosion of the old Human Rights Commission must not be repeated.
