00:00More and more Belgians have been crossing the border to go shopping in France.
00:06That is because of Belgium's steep inflation rate, which is one of the highest compared
00:10to its neighboring countries.
00:12I compared it once, I saw the difference, and then we see that everyone comes here.
00:18So here, the same, much cheaper for you?
00:20Yes, yes, yes.
00:21Are you sure?
00:22Yes, I'm sure.
00:23I don't know how much.
00:2414.
00:25In Belgium, it's 6.41 euros.
00:26It's double.
00:27So I take two, it makes me a free one.
00:33Despite having to pay for petrol, many shoppers still notice they are making significant savings.
00:39Still 200 euros apart, it's worth it for gasoline, 30 minutes on the road, we've still
00:44struggled a bit with the crisis, so you have to pull a bit here and there if you want to
00:50go on vacation.
00:52On an average shopping basket of 100 euros, Belgian shoppers save almost 30 euros in France.
