First album as leader by American jazz saxophonist, clarinetist and composer Hamiet Bluiett from Brooklyn, Illinois, co-founder of The Black Artists Group of St. Louis, Missouri, and having been part of Charlies Mingus's group from 1972 to 1974. Creative music post Afro-American aesthetyc free jazz with mystic interludes. The album was recorded in concert at the Ladie's Fort in New York City, June 19, 1976.
