00:00Scott, good morning. Did this news hit you as a surprise at all? Was it good news?
00:05I mean things have gone really well for the UB Bulls and Pete Lombo.
00:09Good morning, yeah. It did not surprise me at all and I think the university did a
00:15good job here getting out in front. I know that with some of the group of five
00:20openings, head coaching openings this year that were available, I think that
00:26there were a lot of teams starting to sniff around and certainly impressed
00:31with what Pete Lombo was able to do in one year turning a three-win team into a
00:36nine-win team is pretty impressive. I mean that's the second highest win total
00:40in school history and he was here for a couple of months. So they want to get out
00:45in front of that and and lock him up long term and along with the contract he
00:49got a little bit of a pay bump which is always nice and then also they bumped up
00:54his assistant coaching pool money so that's going to help out. I know the
01:00defensive line coach just left for the Cleveland Browns and they've had to
01:05replace a special teams coordinator and a running backs coach. The RB coach went
01:08to Oregon State so they'll be able to have a little bit more cash out there to
01:13to bring in some assistance and also keep the guys that they've got around.
