00:00While many people are clamoring for the Buffalo Bills to address defensive line early in the
00:04NFL draft, there is a scenario where they go an entirely different direction and address
00:08a big need elsewhere on the defense.
00:12In this video, we're going to talk about that need and one prospect that they're slated
00:15to meet with for a Top 30 visit.
00:21What's up everybody, it is Jon Helmkamp with A to Z Buffalo.
00:24The Bills need a lot on the defensive side of the ball.
00:27The needs along the defensive line are very well known.
00:30They can use help at defensive tackle, both as an explosive pass rusher and as a double
00:35team eating one tech big boy in the middle.
00:38They can also benefit from adding pass rushers on the outside.
00:41Yes, Joey Bosa was a great signing, but he is only on a one year contract.
00:46So what does the future look like opposite Greg Rousseau, who recently got a new contract
00:51extension?
00:52Edge rusher could certainly be in play at 30.
00:54However, I think the Bills fans need to be very aware of the fact that there is a good
00:59chance that there's a run on defensive tackles and on pass rushers on edge rushers before
01:05the Bills are on the clock at 30.
01:07So if Brandon Bean is not trading up and those defensive tackles and those edge rushers are
01:12off the board, along with the top three wide receivers or a wide receiver that he feels
01:16comfortable drafting, then what's the next best option?
01:19Cornerback.
01:20Cornerback is a position of need, something I've talked about on this channel before,
01:24but what's very interesting is that the Buffalo Bills have a top 30 visit scheduled with
01:30Siobhan Revel Jr.
01:31If you don't know who Siobhan Revel Jr. is, he was playing lights out at the start of
01:36the 2024 college football season before tearing his ACL.
01:40He is a six foot three corner that can play press, that can play zone, has very good ball
01:45instincts, can high point incredibly well and has great athleticism.
01:50If it wasn't for that ACL tear, if he had kept up what he was doing in the early part
01:55of the college football season over an entire season, he very well could have wound up in
02:00a conversation as a top 15 draft pick and he still might.
02:03He was so talented and so athletically gifted that he's garnering a lot of buzz, but he's
02:08one of those players where depending upon how the board falls, he could go way before
02:13the Bills or he could be sitting there available depending on the different runs at different
02:17positions that happen.
02:19So Siobhan Revel Jr. is a name that Bills fans need to be familiar with.
02:23The cornerback to position is arguably the biggest hole currently on this Buffalo Bills
02:28roster.
02:29Getting a running mate to go opposite Christian Benford is imperative and going out and getting
02:34someone with that kind of length and that ability to high point and go after the ball
02:38would definitely be something that I think appeals to Brandon being in the scouting department.
