00:09Emirates airline is open to cooperation with rival Etihad Airways on areas including procurement,
00:15its president Tim Clark has said.
00:17Clark also said that a full merger between the pair was unlikely but up to the owners.
00:23Emirates and Etihad have been competing fiercely to build global networks around their respective
00:28hubs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
00:30While Clark said there was great value to be had working closely with Etihad, he cautioned
00:35there might be concerns from regulators in some foreign markets.
00:39Hamas said today it has reached an agreement with the rival Fatah of Palestinian President
00:43Mahmoud Abbas after Egyptian-brokered talks about the control of the Gaza Strip.
00:49Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said in a statement that details would be announced later in Cairo.
00:55Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy has given the Catalan government five days to
00:59drop an independence bid.
01:01Failing that, Rajoy warned he would suspend Catalonia's political autonomy and rule the
01:07region directly.
01:08Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont issued a symbolic declaration of independence from
01:13Spain on Tuesday but then immediately suspended it.
01:16Model and actress Cara Delevingne is joining the long list of Harvey Weinstein accusers.
01:22She said on Instagram that Weinstein brought up sexual subjects during more than one business
01:27meeting and also tried to get Delevingne to perform a sexual act.
01:32Delevingne said she was afraid to speak out at the time of the incident because she feared
01:36she may have been somehow responsible.
01:39And finally, the weather.
