00:08Eight people, including a girl, were lightly wounded late on Sunday in a shooting in front
00:13of a mosque in the southeast French city of Avignon.
00:16According to initial accounts, at least two men got out of a car around 10.30 p.m. near
00:21the mosque and opened fire, including with a shotgun.
00:25None of the wounded have life-threatening injuries.
00:28Dubai Metro's Red Line will be partially closed between JLT and Ibn Biduta stations
00:33on Fridays and Saturdays for 10 weeks starting July 28, the Roads and Transport Authority
00:38said.
00:39The closure will allow work to link the Red Line with the under-construction Route 2020.
00:46Commuters will be provided with free shuttle buses to travel between JLT and Ibn Biduta
00:50stations to continue their journey.
00:53Work on the 15-kilometre-long Route 2020, which is an extension of the Red Line, began
00:58late last year to connect the Nakhil Harbour and Tower station with the Expo 2020 site.
