00:25City Centre Maisam is expected to serve around 4 million visitors in its first year.
00:30Majid Al Futaim invested 275 million dirhams to build the mall, which features more than
00:3553 retail outlets, including a Carrefour hypermarket and Magic Planet.
00:40Featuring a contemporary design, City Centre Maisam will have more than 23,000 square metres
00:44of gross leaseable area spread across a single-level mall.
00:48We found out that the growing part of Dubai is coming in this direction.
00:52So to be in a very early stage here means you can kind of drive it.
00:58So this is why we decided this size.
01:00We think this size is absolutely okay for now.
01:04But we decided also that we have different stages of this project.
01:08So we already bought a piece of land so we can extend this mall to a bigger size of course.
01:13But actually we are able to do three phases but it depends on the development of this
01:17area.
01:19We definitely and clearly believe in the development but we have to see what it does.
01:23So this centre is the very first step.
01:26Some of the communities that will benefit from the new mall include Victory Heights,
01:30Jumeirah Gulf Estates, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Arabian Ranches
01:35and Motor City, in addition to employees at the International Media Production Zone.
