00:09the top stories at this hour. The Dubai Health Authority will soon introduce
00:13ranking for hospitals and services to create international standards in medical tourism.
00:19Announcing this at the Arab Health Congress, Dr. Laila al-Murzuki, Director of DHA's Medical
00:24Tourism Department, told Gulf News the rankings would be benchmarked against international
00:29standards. Among some of the criteria for rankings would be the performance, qualification
00:34and experience of doctors, the rate of successful surgeries and the rate of violations.
00:41New England is savaged by a blizzard. Packing knee-high snowfall and hurricane-force winds
00:45are digging out as New Yorkers spared its full fury, questioned whether forecasts were
00:51overblown. The storm buried Boston in more than two feet of snow and lashed it with howling
00:56winds that exceeded 70 miles per hour. While Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey had
01:01been warned they could get one to two feet of snow, New York City received just under
01:0610 inches and Philadelphia a mere inch or so. Sports, football and Branislav Ivanovic's

01:28either Tottenham Hotspur or Sheffield United. At the Australian Open today, a fired-up Serena
01:34Williams shot down last year's finalist Dominika Sibulkova to set up a semi-final with team
01:39Madison Keys. Defending men's champion Stanislas Wawrinka meanwhile crushed Japanese hopes
01:45by beating Kei Nishikura in straight sets. Pop star Taylor Swift has confirmed her Twitter
01:51and Instagram accounts were hacked on Tuesday night, but the rogue posts were quickly removed.
01:57The 25-year-old singer, whose album 1989 has been top of the charts for the past three
02:01months, has built a following of young fans through social media and has the world's fourth
02:06most popular Twitter account with 51.4 million followers. And finally, the weather. Today's
