00:09stories at this hour. At least 27 people were killed in a night-long battle in Pakistan
00:15when Taliban militants disguised as security forces stormed Karachi Airport Sunday. The
00:20attack began just before midnight when 10 gunmen in military fatigue shot their way
00:25into the airport's old terminal. Gun battles raged through the night until security forces
00:29regained control of the airport this morning. Airlines in the UAE, including Emirates and
00:35Etihad, said they were expecting ongoing delays after the international airport was shut following
00:40the attack. Passengers were evacuated and all flights were diverted from the airport.
00:46An Ajman police officer and his wife were found dead under mysterious circumstances
00:51in their caravan in Diba, Fujairah. Police said that the Emirati couple are believed
00:56to have died after inhaling toxic fumes from a generator which was used to provide power
