00:05testing a brand new spicy ice cream. Here is what I will be trying. It is by the brand
00:11Dholicious, who are known for making cookie dough gelato bites. And they have collaborated
00:16with Extra Flamin' Hot for a total combination of fire and ice. And it's not just any gelato
00:23bites that Dholicious is offering. For this new spicy combination, it is a ghost chili
00:28infused gelato, which has been wrapped with a bird's eye chili cookie dough. There is
00:34six of the bites per pack, and each piece is around 102 calories. So it's a great alternative.
00:42However, it will be down to personal preference, as a lot of people couldn't imagine themselves
00:46enjoying a spicy ice cream. Now I absolutely love spicy food, the spicier the better. And
00:52I also really love ice cream. So combining the two might be something I'm really into.
00:58But I'm going to taste test it today and find out what I actually think. Here I have
01:03one of the bites. I've popped it into a little bowl. I've got myself a fork, and I'm going
01:07to dig in. But before I do, let's take a closer look. Here you can see the covering of the
01:16bites, and it already looks really spicy without even tasting it. But it does look delicious.
01:23So while I'm holding it, it is a very soft texture, which I think will be a good thing.
01:30And yeah, I'm excited to give this a try. So here we go. I'm really excited, but really
01:35nervous. I'm going to see how this tastes.
01:42Wow. Wow, that is spicy.
01:46Wow, my mouth is on fire. I can barely speak because my mouth is on fire that much. But
01:53you'll see I've taken a bite, and it's the coating that has really made my eyes water.
01:59It really is extra flaming hot. The ice cream though is cold, is refreshing, and does help.
02:08But it's a really overpowering taste. It is sweet. You would think that it would be savoury,
02:14but it isn't. It's sweet, but that more than a kick of spice is the main flavour that I'm
02:22getting from that. It's gorgeous. It's absolutely delicious. But I don't think I could have it
02:28again. Like, when I'm actually eating it, I can taste that sweetness, and it's just
02:35I can taste that sweetness, and the combination does actually kind of work.
02:41But I think I would prefer a milder version of this if that was ever created, because I do like
02:46the spice. And like I say, the combination of the spice and the gelato surprisingly works
02:50incredibly well. But wow, that is powerful. My mouth is on fire. My eyes are watering.
02:58It's a lot. So sadly, as nice as it is, I don't think I will be having this again.
