Transcript
00:00Just heading up the St Mary's Stadium where Burnley have picked up a really deserved 1-0 win against Southampton in the FA Cup.
00:08Lots of positives taken from the performance from Scott Parker's side.
00:12First draw the result, 1-0, deserved win as I said into the fifth round of the competition.
00:16I always think it's a bit of a myth that you can't have a cup run and a promotion campaign at the same time, so that's really positive.
00:22But as I said, Burnley really deserved it.
00:25Made eight changes, yet made no difference really.
00:28I think they showed a bit more freedom, a bit more, they created some good opportunities.
00:33Even first half, both sides had two or three decent chances.
00:36Second half always looked like Burnley were the ones that were going to, especially later on, were the ones that were going to go for it and keep beating them on the counter-attack.
00:44In the end it was Marcus Edwards on debut who couldn't really miss really, tapped home for close range.
00:50But really good play from Hannibal, unselfish play to tee him up and that was a deserved assist for Hannibal today because he was a standout performer.
00:57He was excellent, he was everywhere.
00:59But yeah, as I said, so many positives.
01:02John Joe Shelby, first start.
01:04Manuel Benson, start for the first time in, what is it, over a year.
01:09Nathan Redman, come back from injury as well.
01:11Joe Barras, the youngster, gets some minutes off the bench again.
01:15Yes, really positive.
01:17And now 21 beaten, another clean sheet.
01:20Almost getting bored of saying that now, but it's really positive.
01:24Head into Leeds Gamers Hall on Wednesday night.
