00:288 people in the NBI Freem were arrested.

00:31They were involved in oil smuggling.

00:3411 lorries or oil tankers were also discovered.

00:37They were from different towns in Bataan and Bulacan.

00:40A smuggled diesel boat carrying 800,000 liters of oil was stolen.

00:44This boat was worth 45 million pesos.

00:47This was taken from a bigger boat in Laot.

00:51The suspects were caught red-handed while they were shouting Paihi.

00:554 out of 11 trucks were already loaded.

00:58We got information that we call this Paihi.

01:04No license, smuggled fuel, diesel.

01:10After a month long of surveillance,

01:12our Criminal Intelligence Division found out that

01:19the truck was already being siphoned.

01:23The truck was not paying taxes.

01:25This is a huge loss for our government.

01:27The NBI believes that Paihi has been operating for a long time.

01:31This port was hidden and not easy to reach.

01:34When asked where the smuggled diesel was being transported,

01:37There were only 6 trucks.

02:48According to the National Bureau of Investigation,

02:50they will finish their investigation immediately

02:53so that they can file several complaints against the owner of this vessel.

02:59Markers are chemicals added to oil that changes color when tested.

03:04If there are no markers, it means that the cargo is not paid for.

03:09They will all be charged for violation of Customs Modernization and Tariff Act,

03:18violation of tax reform for acceleration and inclusion law,

03:22and violation of the National Law No. 33 as amended.

03:26We will also investigate the money laundering part.
