01:33The Lord of the Universe has given him the status of knowledge.
01:38There is a great Imam, Hazrat Khalaf bin Ayub R.A.
01:43He says that the Lord of the Universe has made the center of his knowledge, Kareem A.S.
01:50He has transferred all his knowledge to Kareem A.S.
01:53He says that Kareem A.S. has transferred all his knowledge to the Companions of the Prophet.
01:58And the knowledge of the Companions has been transferred to the followers of the Prophet.
02:02Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa R.A.
02:04is the one who has brought knowledge from two great groups.
02:08From the Companions of the Prophet and the followers of the Prophet.

02:47Hazrat Allama Mawlana Mufti Dr. Syed Ahmad S.A.
02:50Peace be upon you.
02:51Peace be upon you too.
02:52May Allah bless you.
02:54I present before you,
02:55Hazrat Allama Mawlana Mufti Muhammad Ramazan S.A.
02:58Peace be upon you.
02:59I would like to know the status of knowledge of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa R.A.
03:04First of all, please enlighten us.
03:06In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
03:08We are fortunate that today we are here to mention that person
03:12who is my noble teacher,
03:14Syed-e-Wasanadi Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhshari Hojweri R.A.
03:20mentioned him in his book, Kashf-ul Majub Sharif.
03:25And when he mentioned Hazrat Syed-e-Naa,
03:28Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa R.A.
03:31While mentioning him,
03:34Huzoor Syed-e-Data Ganj Bakhshari Hojweri R.A.
03:37chose the words to describe his rank and status.
03:42And the titles he used,
03:45and the intellectual and spiritual aspects of his personality,
03:49he has expressed in front of the Ummah.
03:52I think that other than Huzoor Syed-e-Faiz-e-Alam Data Ganj Bakhshari R.A.
03:57no one else can say it.
03:59What can you say?
04:00Huzoor Syed-e-Data Ganj Bakhshari Hojweri R.A.
04:05used the words of Imam-e-Imama Muqtada-e-Sunniya
04:10to describe his rank and status.
04:15And the translation of Imam-e-Imama is Imam-e-Azam.
04:20The same Imam-e-Azam,
04:22Huzoor Syed-e-Data Ganj Bakhshari Hojweri R.A.
04:25has described as Imam-e-Imama.
04:27And the next thing is,
04:29which is not relevant to the topic,
04:33the dream that Huzoor-e-Data Ganj Bakhshari Hojweri R.A.
04:36has described,
04:37and there are strange symbols and subtleties in it,
04:40but in that,
04:41Nabi Kareem A.S.
04:42about Hazrat Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa A.R.
04:45when Huzoor-e-Data Ganj Bakhshari Hojweri R.A.
04:48asked for clarification,
04:49that Huzoor,
04:50who is he?
04:51Who has been lifted by you?
04:52Nabi Kareem A.S. said,
04:54he is the Imam of the people of your area.
04:57What can you say?
04:58We are in that area,
04:59we are in that area,
05:00which is the area of Data Ganj Bakhshari Hojweri R.A.
05:02And,
05:03I say that
05:04Huzoor,
05:05there are many other aspects
05:06to understand
05:07the intellectual status
05:08of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa A.R.
05:09But,
05:10this one aspect,
05:11that Huzoor,
05:12a personality like Data Ganj Bakhshari Hojweri R.A.
05:14also calls him his Imam.
05:15Wow,
05:16wow,
05:17wow.
05:18Subhan Allah.
05:19Now,
05:20your intellectual status
05:21and intellectual status,
05:22as you said in the intro,
05:24once,
05:25Hazrat Imam-e-Shafi'i A.R.
05:27and Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa A.R.
05:29had a conversation
05:30among their disciples,
05:31and it was decided
05:32that
05:33which of the two
05:34had more disciples
05:36and which of the two
05:37had more status.
05:38Subhan Allah.
05:39So,
05:40the decision that was made
05:41was that
05:42they said,
05:43okay,
05:44tell me
05:45how many disciples
05:46Imam-e-Shafi'i A.R.
05:47had.
05:48So,
05:49when it was counted,
05:50it was 80.
05:51And,
05:52when Imam-e-Shafi'i A.R.
05:53was counted,
05:54it was more than 4,000.
05:55Allahu Akbar.
05:56And,
05:57for the viewers,
05:58it is a fact that
05:59today,
06:00there are
06:017,000
06:02professors
06:03of Shuyukh-ul-Hadith
06:04present there.
06:05The students
06:06gather there
06:07under the same roof.
06:08Right.
06:09They read the same
06:10Sarf,
06:11the same Mantiq,
06:12the same Nahw,
06:13Adab,
06:14Falsifah,
06:15Hadith,
06:16Asool-e-Hadith,
06:17all the rest
06:18of the knowledge
06:19is read there.
06:20But,
06:21the era
06:22of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
06:23A.R.
06:24in which
06:25his books
06:26were present
06:27in Mecca,
06:28in Kufa,
06:29he received
06:30Iqtisab-e-Faiz
06:31from them.
06:32And,
06:33remember that
06:34in all four Imams,
06:35Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
06:36is the only one
06:37who received
06:38Iqtisab-e-Faiz
06:39from the Sahaba-e-Kiram
06:40who are the followers
06:41of Iqtisab-e-Faiz.
06:42So,
06:43after that,
06:44in Kufa,
06:45after that,
06:46in Haramain Sharifain,
06:47he received
06:48Iqtisab-e-Faiz from there.
06:49So,
06:50the journey
06:51of these countries,
06:52the establishment
06:53there,
06:54and from each one,
06:55and remember,
06:56Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
06:57A.R.
06:58Imam-e-Shafi'i
06:59A.R.
07:00has mentioned
07:01his knowledge
07:02that
07:03the people
07:04are dependent
07:05on Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
07:06A.R.
07:07in Fiqh,
07:08all the people,
07:09all the Imams,
07:10are dependent
07:11on him.
07:12SubhanAllah.
07:13They cannot
07:14get out of
07:15that circle
07:16of Fiqh.
07:17Mashallah.
07:18So,
07:19with that
07:20knowledge
07:21and with those books,
07:22Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
07:23A.R.
07:24brought that knowledge
07:25and after that,
07:26Imam-e-Ahl-e-Bait
07:27Jafar-e-Sadiq
07:28A.R.
07:29separated him
07:30from other Imams.
07:31So,
07:32his knowledge
07:33and after that,
07:34remember,
07:35when I went
07:36to Syria in 2005,
07:37there,
07:38I saw
07:39that
07:40he is dependent
07:41on Fiqh-e-Hanbali
07:42but
07:43all his
07:44family rules
07:45and his
07:46course system
07:47is according
07:48to Fiqh-e-Hanfi.
07:49So,
07:50I asked my person
07:51he said
07:52that
07:53Fiqh-e-Hanfi
07:54is close
07:55to Fitrah.
07:56So,
07:57I asked him
07:58what to say
07:59about
08:00Fiqh-e-Hanfi.
08:01What to say?
08:02He said that
08:03the reference
08:04that you gave
08:05of Yahya-bin-Muaz
08:06Razi,
08:07so,
08:08when he
08:09asked
08:10the government
08:11of the two worlds
08:12that
08:13Ya Rasulullah
08:14how will
08:15you get close
08:16to them?
08:17He said
08:18the one
08:19who will
08:20get close
08:21to the
08:22knowledge
08:23of
08:24Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
08:25is
08:26the one
08:27who
08:28will
08:29get close
08:30to
08:31the
08:32knowledge
08:33of
08:34Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa.
08:35So,
08:36he said
08:37that
08:38the one
08:39who will
08:40get close
08:41to
08:42the
08:43knowledge
08:44of
08:45Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
08:46is
08:47the one
08:48who
08:49will
08:50get close
08:51to
08:52the
08:53knowledge
08:54of
08:55Imam-e-Azam
08:56Abu Hanifa.
08:57So,
08:58the one
08:59who will
09:00get close
09:01to
09:02the
09:03knowledge
09:04of
09:05Imam-e-Azam
09:06Abu Hanifa
09:07is
09:08the one
09:09who
09:10will
09:11get close
09:12to
09:13the
09:14knowledge
09:15of
09:16Imam-e-Azam
09:17Abu Hanifa.
09:18So,
09:19the one
09:20who
09:21will
09:22get close
09:23to
09:24the
09:25knowledge
09:26of
09:27Imam-e-Azam
09:28Abu Hanifa
09:29is
09:30the one
09:31who
09:32will
09:33get close
09:34to
09:35the
09:36knowledge
09:37of
09:38Imam-e-Azam
09:39Abu Hanifa.
09:40So,
09:41the one
09:42who
09:43will
09:44get close
09:45to
09:46the
09:47knowledge
09:48of
09:49Imam-e-Azam
09:50Abu Hanifa
09:51is
09:52the one
09:53who
09:54will
09:55get close
09:56to
09:57the
09:58knowledge
09:59of
10:00Imam-e-Azam
10:01Abu Hanifa.
10:02So,
10:03the one
10:04who
10:05will
10:06get close
10:07to
10:08the
10:09knowledge
10:10of
10:11Imam-e-Azam
10:12Abu Hanifa
10:13is
10:14the one
10:15who
10:16will
10:17get close
10:18to
10:19the
10:20knowledge
10:21of
10:22Imam-e-Azam
10:23Abu Hanifa.
10:24So,
10:25the one
10:26who
10:27will
10:28get close
10:29to
10:30the
10:31knowledge
10:32of
10:33Imam-e-Azam
10:34Abu Hanifa
10:35is
10:36the one
10:37who
10:38will
10:39get close
10:40to
10:41the
10:42knowledge
10:43of
10:44Imam-e-Azam
10:45Abu Hanifa.
10:46So,
10:47the one
10:48who
10:49will
10:50get close
10:51to
10:52the
10:53knowledge
10:54of
10:55Imam-e-Azam
10:56Abu Hanifa
10:57is
10:58the one
10:59who
11:00will
11:01get close
11:02to
11:03the
11:04knowledge
11:05of
11:06Imam-e-Azam
11:07Abu Hanifa.
11:08So,
11:09the one
11:10who
11:11will
11:12get close
11:13to
11:14the
11:15knowledge
11:16of
11:17Imam-e-Azam
11:18Abu Hanifa
11:19is
11:20the one
11:21who
11:22will
11:23get close
11:24to
11:25the
11:26knowledge
11:27of
11:28Imam-e-Azam
11:29Abu Hanifa.
11:30So,
11:31the one
11:32who
11:33will
11:34get close
11:35to
11:36the
11:37knowledge
11:38of
11:39Imam-e-Azam
11:40Abu Hanifa
11:41is
11:42the one
11:43who
11:44will
11:45get close
11:46to
11:47the
11:48knowledge
11:49of
11:50Imam-e-Azam
11:51Abu Hanifa.
11:52So,
11:53the one
11:54who
11:55will
11:56get close
11:57to
11:58the
11:59knowledge
12:00of
12:01Imam-e-Azam
12:02Abu Hanifa
12:03is
12:04the one
12:05who
12:06will
12:07get close
12:08to
12:09the
12:10knowledge
12:11of
12:12Imam-e-Azam
12:13Abu Hanifa.
12:14So,
12:15the one
12:16who
12:17will
12:18get close
12:19to
12:20the
12:21knowledge
12:22of
12:23Imam-e-Azam
12:24Abu Hanifa
12:25is
12:26the one
12:27who
12:28will
12:29get close
12:30to
12:31the
12:32knowledge
12:33of
12:34Imam-e-Azam
12:35Abu Hanifa.
12:36So,
12:37the one
12:38who
12:39will
12:40get close
12:41to
12:42the
12:43knowledge
12:44of
12:45Imam-e-Azam
12:46Abu Hanifa
12:47is
12:48the one
12:49who
12:50will
12:51get close
12:52to
12:53the
12:54knowledge
12:55of
12:56Imam-e-Azam
12:57Abu Hanifa.
12:58So,
12:59the one
13:00who

13:03to
13:04the

14:38Abu Hanifa
14:39is
14:40the one
14:41who
14:42one issue would be presented in it.
14:44Yes.
14:45Every person would give his opinion on it according to his knowledge and expertise.
14:50Okay.
14:51His opinion would be written.
14:53If there was a disagreement, it would also be written.
14:56And after that, when all the words would be completed on it,
15:00you see what kind of an argument there would be.
15:03Okay.
15:03And Allah is the Greatest,
15:05the opinion that would be formed as a result of it,
15:07then Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him,
15:10would give his opinion on it.
15:12What do you have to say about this?
15:13And it happens many times that one thousand scholars,
15:16out of which forty selected scholars,
15:18their opinion would be different,
15:20Imam-e-Azam's opinion would be different.
15:22But when Imam-e-Azam's opinion comes with evidence,
15:24all of them would raise their hands
15:26and accept that the opinion of Huzoor,
15:28Wow, wow, wow, wow,
15:30SubhanAllah.
15:30That gathering of knowledge,
15:32giving it an order,
15:33its guidance and excellence,
15:34as a result of it,
15:36and then,
15:37there are worshippers among them,
15:39there are zahids among them,
15:40who are at the highest level of worship,
15:42piety and purification,
15:44that they give their opinion
15:46only and only for the pleasure of Allah,
15:48the Lord of Glory.
15:49Wow.
15:50Look at your students.
15:51Bismillah.
15:52Among them, there is Hazrat Imam Abu Yusuf,
15:54may Allah have mercy on him.
15:56In the Ummah,
15:57the title of Qazi-ul-Qudat,
15:59came first in your category.
16:00Yes, yes, yes, no doubt.
16:01And then,
16:02you put so much effort in it,
16:04so much effort,
16:05that with its blessings,
16:06today,
16:07in the Islamic countries,
16:08even now,
16:09the majority of the Ummah,
16:11which follows Fiqh,
16:12is Hazrat Imam Azam Abu Hanifa,
16:14may Allah have mercy on him.
16:15Wow, wow, wow.
16:16Imam Muhammad bin Hassan Shaibani,
16:18may Allah have mercy on him.
16:19These are called sahibain.
16:20Imam Abu Yusuf,
16:21Imam Muhammad.
16:22And if in any opinion,
16:23Imam Abu Yusuf
16:24and Imam Azam Abu Hanifa
16:25are on one side,
16:26then they are called sheikhain.
16:28Yes, yes.
16:29I understood.
16:30And,
16:31along with this,
16:32Allah,
16:33Imam Zafar,
16:34may Allah have mercy on him,
16:35he is one of those
16:37about whom,
16:38in his gathering,
16:39there was an opinion,
16:40that
16:41aqsaruhum tafri'an
16:43wa aqyasuhum.
16:44What does it mean?
16:45That the fruits,
16:46i.e.
16:47those which
16:48Islam uses in its Fiqh,
16:50that its nature
16:51is very special.
16:52What does it mean
16:53that it is very special?
16:54It means that
16:55it removes that point.
16:56Yes, yes.
16:57It is so prominent.
16:58Okay.
16:59And then,
17:00the experts in Qiyas,
17:01in them,
17:02you say that
17:03aqyasuhum,
17:04Hazrat Imam Zafar,
17:05may Allah have mercy on him,
17:06Hazrat Abdullah ibn Mubarak,
17:07may Allah be pleased with him,
17:08in them,
17:09Hazrat Hamad bin Abi Hanifa,
17:10Hazrat Waqi' bin Jarrah,
17:11Hazrat Imam Dawood bin Nasir,
17:12these are all those people
17:13who,
17:14in this Fiqh practice,
17:15and I repeat this again,
17:16Fiqh means
17:17nothing
17:18which is contrary
17:19to the Qur'an and Sunnah.
17:20Amazing.
17:21Remember this.
17:22Wow, wow, wow.
17:23There is no parallel
17:24to anything.
17:25Wow, wow, wow.
17:26In fact,
17:27fundamentally,
17:28to act upon the Qur'an
17:29and Sunnah,
17:30the real soul,
17:31form,
17:32and form
17:33of the Qur'an
17:34and Sunnah
17:35should be brought
17:36before the Ummah.
17:37That is what
17:38Fiqh means.
17:39Amazing.
17:40What to say.
17:41And as Kibla Mufti
17:42has said,
17:43your view on Fiqh,
17:44you see,
17:45you have discussed
17:4612,70,000 issues,
17:47but not a single issue
17:48is contrary
17:49to the Hadith of the Prophet.
17:50Subhanallah.
17:51That is,
17:52your view on
17:53the Hadith of the Prophet
17:54was so deep.
17:55We present to you
17:56Dr. Kibla.
17:57Dr. Kibla,
17:58you have
17:59collected
18:004,000 shuyukhs
18:01and then
18:02you have
18:03collected
18:043,000 shuyukhs
18:05and then
18:06you have
18:07collected
18:083,000 shuyukhs
18:09of Zan-e-Talam
18:10and especially
18:11of the scholars
18:12of the Bai'at.
18:13I would like
18:14you to shed
18:15some light
18:16on this.
18:17This is
18:18a very
18:19beautiful
18:20question
18:21and
18:22it also
18:23tells us
18:24the benefit
18:25of the
18:26Fiqh
18:27is most
18:28often
18:29transmitted
18:30from
18:31Atehar school.
18:32Wow.
18:33so he addressed it with 40.
18:36I will repeat it in a few sentences and then come back to it.
18:39Bismillah.
18:40He said that the wealth of my heart is only you people.
18:45Your existence has the guarantee of relieving my sadness and grief.
18:50Alright.
18:51And then he goes on to say that I have prepared the adornment of Fiqh for you people.
18:57And I have also put a seal on its mouth for you.
19:02Alright.
19:03Now you can ride on it whenever you want.
19:07I have created such an environment that people will ask for your map.
19:12What to say?
19:13Wonderful.
19:14And people will search for each and every word of yours.
19:18And I have bowed my neck for you and made it a wall.
19:22Wow, wow, wow.
19:23And he said that you are 40.
19:25You can become a judge from 40 to 40.
19:28This is the preparation of Rijal-e-Kaar.
19:30Yes, yes.
19:31How to give Rijal-e-Kaar.
19:32He said that there are 10 such people among them who can not only become judges,
19:37but can also train judges.
19:40Wow, wow, wow.
19:41Subhanallah.
19:42As far as Aima Ahle Bait is concerned, you have found and visited about 10-9 Aima Ahle Bait.
19:48And the biggest thing is that among the Aima Ahle Bait, Qari Sahib Qibla.
19:54Bismillah, Bismillah.
19:55Whenever an Imam has gone out,
19:57Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, has supported him.
20:01Allah, wow, wow, wow.
20:02Here two scenes are coming in front of me.
20:04One, you came to the service of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir.
20:08Okay.
20:09Look at the respect and love.
20:11When you came, after Salam Niaz, he started saying,
20:16O Ibn-e-Rasul, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
20:22In my opinion, you have the same status as the Prophet of the Companions.
20:29He was in his time, now you are his heir.
20:32This is adab.
20:33And the second example is that once Imam Jafar Sadiq, may Allah be pleased with him,
20:38came to Kufa.
20:39When he came to Kufa, Imam Sahib came to meet his disciples.
20:46Imam Sahib was sitting with adab.
20:50As soon as his disciples saw him, they all became two-faced.
20:54Okay.
20:55When they saw so much respect,
20:57Subhanallah.
20:58When they saw such a status, Imam Jafar Sadiq, may Allah be pleased with him,
21:02was impressed and said,
21:03Who are you doing this for?
21:06They said, this is our Ustad Abu Hanifa.
21:10He bowed down to you in adab.
21:12Wow, wow.
21:13He bowed down to you in adab.
21:14What to say, what to say.
21:15The second time Abu Jafar Mansur called Imam Sahib.
21:18Yes.
21:19What a beautiful thing.
21:21He asked, where did you get the knowledge from?
21:24He said that I have gained the knowledge of Hazrat Umar from the Companions of Umar.
21:29Hazrat Ali has gained the knowledge from the Companions of Ali.
21:33Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masood has gained the knowledge from the Companions of Abdullah Ibn Masood.
21:38And Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas has gained the knowledge from the Companions of Abdullah Ibn Abbas.
21:43Wow, wow.
21:44Ibn-e-Abbas and Abdullah Ibn-e-Abbas.
21:46Obviously, when the great companions left,
21:48they had no one to support them.
21:50Along with this, Imam Zayed,
21:52Imam Nafs-e-Zakiya,
21:54Imam Hassan-e-Musanna.
21:56All of these imams
21:58are included in your
22:00Mashayikhs.
22:02It is written in the Tazkirah.
22:04Along with the Mashayikhs,
22:06whenever there is a request
22:08from an Imam,
22:10Imam's heart beats
22:12for them.
22:14He is always ready to serve them.
22:16What a beautiful
22:18status you have.
22:20Whether it is the Umubi or the Basi era,
22:22you see that in every era,
22:24Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
22:26was associated with the Ahl-e-Bayt.
22:28And you have sacrificed everything
22:30for the Ahl-e-Bayt.
22:32I would like to go to Mufti Sahib.
22:34There is something very special
22:36that I mentioned to you earlier.
22:38When we look at Fiqh,
22:40you have interpreted it very well.
22:42But your Hadith does not
22:44clash with any issue.
22:46So I will go to the Waqf.
22:48I will leave the question to you.
22:50What is the status of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
22:52and the knowledge of Hadith?
22:54We will meet after the Waqf.
22:56Dear viewers,
22:58we are very fortunate
23:00to have Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
23:02with us today.
23:04I had left the question
23:06to Mufti Sahib.
23:08What is the status of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
23:10and the knowledge of Hadith?
23:12Fundamentally,
23:14your question and topic
23:16is in itself a requirement
23:18of a whole program.
23:20In which we can answer
23:22the objections
23:24of the critics
23:26of Fiqh-e-Hanafi,
23:28Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
23:30and Ahl-e-Bayt.
23:32Alhamdulillah.
23:34Alhamdulillah.
23:36What I would like to say
23:38to all the viewers
23:40is that the basis of the
23:42health of Hadith,
23:44the basis of being
23:46healthy or unhealthy,
23:48here unhealthy does not mean
23:50weak or weak.
23:52It depends on the
23:54chain of Hadith and
23:56the tradition of Hadith.
23:58If there is a weak narrator
24:00in the chain of Hadith,
24:02then the Hadith will be
24:04of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa,
24:06may Allah have mercy on him.
24:08The blessed period of his life,
24:10as we said,
24:12he had a good relationship
24:14with the companions of the Prophet.
24:16It has just been mentioned
24:18that in his blessed life,
24:20nine Imams of Ahl-e-Bayt,
24:22including Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir,
24:24Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq,
24:26may Allah be pleased with them,
24:28are included.
24:30He had a good relationship
24:32with the companions of the Prophet.
24:34Now I would like to say
24:36that a Hadith which
24:38was narrated by Imam Bukhari
24:40in his Aljam-e-Sahih,
24:42if there are four narrators
24:44in it,
24:46and the same Hadith
24:48from which
24:50Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa,
24:52may Allah have mercy on him,
24:54has deduced,
24:56for example,
24:58if the same Hadith
25:00has been narrated
25:02with one or two Sanads,
25:04if Imam Bukhari
25:06has not taken any Hadith,
25:08has not taken it,
25:10and has not included it
25:12in Bukhari,
25:14and some people have
25:16objected to that Hadith
25:18and have not called it weak
25:20or reasonable.
25:22If Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
25:24has made an argument
25:26with that Hadith,
25:28I would like to say that
25:30since it is not in Bukhari,
25:32we cannot make an argument.
25:34It is possible that
25:36when Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
25:38made an argument with that Hadith,
25:40he made an argument directly
25:42or with the help of a narrator
25:44who was absolutely right.
25:46While coming to you,
25:48some narrators came
25:50because of which
25:52the Hadith has become weak.
25:54Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa,
25:56all the writers of the Ummah,
25:58especially Imam-e-Muslim,
26:00Imam-e-Bukhari and Imam-e-Tirmidhi,
26:02may Allah have mercy on them,
26:04if you look at their
26:06Sanad-e-Hadith,
26:08I have a map and a map
26:10in my library
26:12that all the Muhaddithin
26:14of the Ummah,
26:16including Imam-e-Bukhari,
26:18Imam-e-Muslim,
26:20all of them are students
26:22of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
26:24with or without the help of a narrator.
26:26Hazrat-e-Abdullah Ibn-e-Mubarak
26:28may Allah be pleased with him,
26:30says that if I was not honoured
26:32to have the company of Abu Sufyan,
26:34Abu Hanifa and Sufyan Sauri,
26:36may Allah be pleased with them,
26:38I would not have been honoured
26:40to be among the Ahl-e-Bid'ah.
26:42Imam-e-Yusuf, may Allah be pleased with him,
26:44who are your students,
26:46says that you have mentioned
26:48two things.
26:50First, you said that
26:52I made a separate opinion
26:54from the opinion of Imam-e-Azam,
26:56but when I pondered over it,
26:58it became clear to me
27:00that even if this opinion
27:02is correct,
27:04but when I look at it,
27:06the opinion of Imam-e-Azam
27:08is more beneficial.
27:10Then you also said that
27:12if in the matter of Hadith-e-Pak,
27:14I was inclined to another Hadith,
27:16when I pondered over it,
27:18Imam-e-Azam, may Allah be pleased with him,
27:20said that Imam-e-Azam
27:22has found the Hadith of Imam-e-Azam
27:24to be better than his own.
27:26What does he say?
27:28And the jurisprudence
27:30of Imam-e-Azam,
27:32which is known to the world,
27:34that if you see
27:36any of my sayings against
27:38the Hadith-e-Rasool,
27:40then take the Hadith-e-Rasool
27:42and leave my sayings.
27:44This is an assumption.
27:46This is an assumption.
27:48I have not deviated
27:50from the Hadith-e-Rasool
27:52in establishing any opinion.
27:54I have made it the basis
27:56or the Quran
27:58in all my actions
28:00and in all my jurisprudence.
28:02Dear viewers,
28:04regarding Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa,
28:06may Allah be pleased with him,
28:08I would like to say
28:10a very beautiful thing
28:12with the permission
28:14of Mufti Sahib Qibla.
28:16He has included in his
28:18message those Hadith
28:20which Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
28:22may Allah be pleased with him,
28:24took directly from the Companions.
28:26And you see,
28:28he has quoted a Hadith.
28:30Abu Yusuf,
28:32Abu Hanifa,
28:34and he said,
28:36I have heard Anas bin Malik
28:38say, the Messenger of Allah
28:40is seeking knowledge.
28:42This is your position
28:44and the question to you is
28:46Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa and the Hadith.
28:48In the name of Allah.
28:50It is a very beautiful question.
28:52Mufti Sahib has explained
28:54many aspects.
28:56There are other misunderstandings
28:58which need to be clarified.
29:00Firstly, the Musnad-e-Imam-e-Azam
29:02has been published
29:04in which thousands of Hadith
29:06which you have quoted
29:08are present.
29:10Secondly,
29:12Ibn-e-Khaldun has written
29:14a saying
29:16and people have
29:18drawn conclusions
29:20from it.
29:22Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
29:24used to know 17 Hadiths.
29:26Now, Ameer-ul-Mumineen-fil-Hadith
29:28which is the majority of
29:30Hadith is Ameer-ul-Mumineen-fil-Hadith.
29:32And this is
29:34the time before Imam-e-Bukhari.
29:36Approximately one century ago.
29:38This is the third century.
29:40This is the first century.
29:42So, Imam-e-Azam has a direct
29:44relationship with Hadith.
29:46Ibn-e-Khaldun has answered
29:48this question beautifully.
29:50Imam-e-Azam's conditions
29:52for accepting Hadith
29:54were very strict.
29:56That is why
29:58the number of narrations
30:00which you have quoted
30:02is very less.
30:04What is the reason for this?
30:06The least number of Hadiths
30:08is narrated by Imam-e-Azam Abu Bakr.
30:10Allahu Akbar! Wow!
30:12What a beautiful example!
30:14Is it possible to reduce the number of Hadiths?
30:16Wow!
30:18And about the 17 Hadiths,
30:20the scholars have answered
30:22that the 17 Hadiths are those
30:24in which
30:26if Imam-e-Azam
30:28had not narrated them,
30:30the Ummah would have been deprived
30:32of these 17 Hadiths.
30:34This does not mean that
30:36the Ummah would have been deprived
30:38of these 17 Hadiths.
30:40The third thing I would like to say
30:42regarding this is that
30:44Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa
30:46has travelled to different places
30:48including Basra, Kufa
30:50and Harman Sharifain.
30:52Look at Imam-e-Azam Abu Bukhari.
30:54He says that
30:56he has travelled
30:58to every city
31:00twice.
31:02But I have travelled to Kufa
31:04twice.
31:06Why did he go there?
31:08It was the centre of knowledge.
31:10It was the centre of knowledge
31:12of Hazrat Abdullah ibn Masood
31:14and Hazrat Ali-ul-Murtaza.
31:16And it had its effects.
31:18And there is no doubt
31:20that the Ummah that Kufa
31:22has given in terms of knowledge
31:24cannot be given by any other city.
31:26There is no other opinion in this.
31:28And the way Mufti Sahib pointed out
31:30regarding Imam Abu Yusuf,
31:32he says that
31:34when he reached the conclusion
31:36it felt as if Imam Abu Hanifa
31:38is far ahead where we cannot reach.
31:40There is another thing.
31:42Musayr ibn Qudam is a famous muhaddith.
31:44He says,
31:46I have been gathered
31:48with Abu Hanifa
31:50in terms of Hadith.
31:52So,
31:54the place where Abu Hanifa
31:56reaches,
31:58we cannot reach.
32:00And there is another thing.
32:02This is a very interesting thing.
32:04When Hadith comes,
32:06Hadith is Hadith.
32:08Imam Abu Hanifa
32:10is his own example
32:12in applying it.
32:14First Quran, then Hadith,
32:16then someone's statement.
32:18People who say that
32:20Hadith is not followed in Fiqh Hanfi,
32:22but in Fiqh Hanfi,
32:24there is a statement.
32:26So, what is the status of Hadith?
32:28In Fiqh Hanfi,
32:30the statement is a proof.
32:32The statement is like
32:34the Prophet's statement.
32:36If the statement is a proof,
32:38then what is the status of Hadith?
32:40Therefore,
32:42there is nothing
32:44other than a misunderstanding.
32:46My advice is
32:48to read Musnad-e-Imam-e-Azam.
32:50And there is another
32:52favor of Imam Abu Hanifa.
32:54In general,
32:56it is considered to be a flaw.
32:58Some people have
33:00rejected Nasakh.
33:02Nasakh cannot be in the Quran.
33:04Imam Abu Hanifa has
33:06praised Nasakh.
33:08He says,
33:10Nasakh comes to state
33:12the duration of a command.
33:14The first command came.
33:16When the second command came,
33:18he said that the first command
33:20has been completed,
33:22now a new command has come.
33:24It is not a flaw.
33:26It has become a quality.
33:28Let me say the last thing.
33:30Imam Shahrani says,
33:32I have seen
33:34Fiqh Hanfi,
33:36Fiqh Maliki,
33:38Fiqh Shafi,
33:40Fiqh Hambli.
33:42These are the four streams
33:44coming out of the Prophet's river.
33:46The longest stream
33:48is of Fiqh Hanfi.
33:50Imam Abdul Wahab Shahrani
33:52is not a Fiqh Hanfi.
33:54He is a Fiqh Hanfi.
33:56From this, I understood that
33:58till the end of the world,
34:00the most Fiqh point of view
34:02that will remain
34:04is Imam's point of view.
34:06What to say?
34:08More than 70% people
34:10are following Fiqh Hanfi.
34:12If this
34:14was the case,
34:16would the collective consciousness
34:18of the Ummah,
34:20my Ummah will never be
34:22misguided.
34:28What a beautiful conversation.
34:30Imam Azam Abu Hanifa
34:32is a scholar.
34:34He has also talked about Kufa.
34:36The intellectual center of Kufa,
34:38when Sayyidna Umar Farooq
34:40settled there,
34:42Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood
34:44was sent there.
34:46The people who were
34:48present in Kufa were
34:50300 people.
34:52There were 70 Badri Companions.
34:54When Maula Ali Karram Allah
34:56Wajalul Kareem
34:58made Kufa a residence,
35:00it became the intellectual
35:02center of Kufa.
35:04From Basra to Kufa,
35:06he brought knowledge
35:08and spread it all over the world.
35:10Imam Azam Abu Hanifa
35:12loved Ahl-e-Bayt.
35:14Whether it was the Umayyad era
35:16or any other era,
35:18he was always associated
35:20with Ahl-e-Bayt.
35:22The Lord of the Universe
35:24gave him that status.
35:26The great rulers
35:28were destroyed.
35:30The flag of Imam Azam's
35:32knowledge is still there.
35:34When his funeral prayer
35:36took place,
35:3850,000 people
35:40attended his funeral.
35:42The status of Imam Azam Abu Hanifa
35:44was so great that Imam Shafi'i
35:46said,
35:48whoever wants to
35:50get a status in Fiqh
35:52will need Imam Azam Abu Hanifa.
35:54I am Huzoor's
35:56son, Allama Mawlana Mufti
