00:00Maritime and Aerial Assets of the Armed Forces of the Philippines
00:08The three ships of the People's Liberation Army or PLA Navy of China
00:12were spotted inside the archipelagic waters of the Philippines.
00:16Among them are the Renhai-class Cruiser Guided Missile,
00:20Fuji-class Replenishment Oiler, and Jiangkai-class Frigate.
00:25Since February 1, the Chinese warships
00:29passed through the Kuyo Island in Palawan
00:32towards Basilan Strait,
00:34and one of them came from Bajo de Macinloc.
00:37These ships were sent out of the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Philippines,
00:41which is 120 nautical miles from Basilan,
00:45and possibly towards Indonesia for training.
00:49Although the passage through the archipelagic sea lanes
00:53of various ships was restricted by the AFP,
00:56there was no diplomatic coordination between the Chinese ships.
01:00It was also not expeditious for these ships to run
01:04when they only released 5 to 6 knots and there was a so-called fight.
01:08They could have traveled expeditiously.
01:11They were challenged all the way.
01:13They replied but not in accordance to standard procedures.
01:18Standard procedure is that you would identify yourself,
01:22you would state where you came from, where you're heading to.
01:25The only reply given to the Western Military Command
01:28was that they are exercising freedom of navigation and innocent passage.
01:33There is no cause for alarm
01:35as we are prepared to respond effectively to any developments.
01:39The Philippine Coast Guard sent the two ships of the China Coast Guard
01:44until they were released from the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Philippines.
01:48The so-called ships of China CCG 3301 and 3104
01:54reached 34 nautical miles from the coastline of Pangasinan.
01:59According to the PCG,
02:00the ships of the China Coast Guard were tightly guarded by their ship BRP Cabra
02:06until it was released by the EEZ of the country.
02:09Based on the latest monitoring with the help of the Dark Vessel Detection Data of Canada,
02:14the ships of the CCG will return to Guangdong Province in China.
02:18In the middle of the activities of the ships of China,
02:21an expert said that the country should continue to show that we are not afraid.
02:28Even if they just pass by, we will show that we are still guarding
02:32and we are still insisting that if they pass by,
02:35they should also act according to the law.
02:39Our so-called vigilance is continuous.
02:43Because it is time for them to violate our law and our security,
02:48we have the right to act to protect our security.
02:53After all, they are the ones here in our place.
02:56So we have the right if something happens.
03:05Meanwhile, two B-1 bomber aircraft of the US Pacific Air Force
03:10were deployed in the Philippines and America
03:13in the West Philippine Sea
03:16where the vicinity of Bajo de Macinloc is a training area.
03:20Three F-A-50 fighter jets were deployed for the Philippine Air Force
03:25and the Air Patrol and Air Intercept were also trained.
03:29As for us, we are doing this training based on international rules-based order
03:36and based on protocol.
03:38So we will just continue on regardless of the action of other foreign actors.
03:42According to PAF, there was no radio challenge
03:45and the aircraft of China was also not seen during the training.
