00:00The Philippine Coast Guard illegally called the presence of the China Coast Guard Vessel 5901 in the Philippine Sea.
00:07According to PCG Spokesperson Commodore J. Tariella,
00:11the Chinese did not make an innocent passage,
00:13but a demonstration of strength that they have the ability to carry out law enforcement operations in the sea that is surrounding the country.
00:22Because of that, PCG deployed the BRP Cabra to monitor the CCG Vessel and challenge China in its continued assertion.
00:32Meanwhile, the Coast Guard also defended their duty to protect and guard the waters surrounding the Philippines.
