00:00Our break wasn't really able to get to it.
00:02It's something that we can control.
00:04It looks like you guys really struggled offensively against that USC draw.
00:09I guess was that, you know, supposed to be you guys, or your national playoff?
00:14I mean, yeah, yeah, I think we just kinda, I mean, we just wasn't really.
00:18We knew they were gonna rally to the ball, you know,
00:19we just was being kinda careless with the ball, you know, I feel like.
00:23So we just gotta fix those, fix the turnovers, you know,
00:26especially the unforced turnovers, you know.
00:29I feel like we tried to force a lot of things that we didn't need to, so yeah.
00:32So strength in numbers has kind of been a big thing this whole year.
00:36Talk about how that looks in a loss.
00:40Sue, I mean, you hear everybody, you know, in the locker room after the loss,
00:43you know, talking about, you know, everybody taking accountability for a loss.
00:48You know, we just have to move on, you know, get better, look at the film,
00:51fix what we need to fix, and you're ready for the next game.
00:53You know, everybody's bought in.
00:55You know, this is not a loss, okay, but this is not the end of our season.
00:58You know, we still have goals that we wanna work for and
01:02that we wanna achieve, so just gotta keep focusing on that.
01:04You were pretty vocal after the game in the locker room.
01:07You feel like a leader on this team now?
01:09Yeah, for sure, you know, we don't really have an old team, I would say.
01:14You know, we got a couple guys, you know, some seniors, but
01:18only one that's not new is Jaden, you know.
01:20So I kinda feel like I've been here a good amount of time, I've done it.
01:24So I try to use my voice, and I feel like the guys respect me enough to listen to
01:27me, so I try to do what I can for sure.
01:29And what was your message?
01:31Just bounce back, you know, we still gotta play, you know, we out here,
01:34we still gotta play against UCLA.
01:36You know, this is not the, we still have a chance to split the road trip,
01:39which I feel like is a great thing.
01:41You know, we've been on this run, won these games in a row for a reason.
01:45So, you know, we're not just gonna sit here just cuz we lost one game.
01:48We're not gonna dwell on it, we're gonna get back at it and
01:50do what we need to do to win.
01:51What has to change in the next 72 hours?
01:54I feel like, you know, we just gotta come out with more effort, you know, and
01:58if they get on the run, not to put our heads down, you know,
02:02we gotta handle adversity better.
02:04I feel like we didn't do it as good as we need to, you know,
02:06we got punched in the mouth in the beginning and we didn't respond well.
02:08So we just gotta do that.
02:10Was it effort related when they went on that long run, the 21-7?
02:13Yeah, for sure, you know, there's a lot of things everybody did that resulted in
02:17buckets, you know, there's definitely a lot of things that we could have did better
02:20effort wise, you know, boxing out, getting rebounds, and
02:23everybody crashing the glass, so yeah.
02:25When you've gone to the free throw line, so often this season,
02:27it's almost been automatic points.
02:29Today, eight missed free throws in a six-point game, what does that tell you?
02:33We gotta make free throws.
02:34Yeah, that's it, you know.
02:37What was the difference today with that?
02:39We just gotta be confident, you know, be confident in our work, you know,
02:44trust our work, and make them free throws, you know, cuz I feel like that's a big
02:47part of the game, you know, if we would have made them, we would have been in the
02:49game, we would have won, so yeah.
