00:25The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. has maintained its good satisfaction rating
00:30despite the challenges faced by the country in the past year.
00:33Based on a survey conducted by the Social Weather Station in December 2024,
00:3859% of Filipinos were pleased with the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:44While the number of Filipinos who were not pleased decreased by 1%,
00:48from 24% in September to 23% in the same month.
00:52Because of this, the net satisfaction rating of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:56is positive 36, which is considered by the SWS as good,
01:00just like the rating obtained in September last year.
01:03Based on the survey, Visayas has the highest satisfaction rating of 65%.
01:10Among the government's programs, the Filipinos are pleased with the help of the victims of calamity,
01:16improvement in education, priority for the poor,
01:19increased work, and the development of advanced technology.
01:23While some of the programs of the current administration received a good rating,
01:28such as housing, food security, transportation, and others.
01:32However, this is indicated by a low mark due to inflation,
01:36which has a net satisfaction rating of negative 12.
01:40While the moderate rating is based on the lack of hunger in the families,
01:44the net satisfaction rating is positive 26.
01:46Neutral, however, is the estimated rating for issues related to the fight against crime,
01:50the fight against the manipulation of the price of oil, and the removal of trust.
01:55In total, the estimated uncertainty is at 17%,
01:59while 23% said they were not happy.
02:03The survey was conducted with 2,160 respondents across the country
02:07through face-to-face interviews from December 12 to December 18, 2024.
