00:17The Department of Justice wants to arrest again the six accused for the disappearance of the sabongero in Manila Arena in 2022.

00:26The Court of Appeals overturned the decision of the Manila RTC Branch 40 to sentence the accused to non-bailable cases of kidnapping and serious illegal detention.

00:38Well, the decision of the Court of Appeals denied the bail that was given by the judge in the trial court to the accused.

00:49In the resolution of the Court of Appeals, he said that he saw a lot of points that were not evaluated properly,

01:02that was considered by the judge when granting the bail that it should not be.

01:06This is the result of the CA's review of the Petition for Certiorari of the Prosecution where there was grave abuse of discretion of the trial court.

01:16In the 18th page of the decision, the CA said that the court abused discretion in granting the bail to the accused who have strong evidence of guilt.

01:27The CA also did not give the weight of the recantation of one of the witnesses because it did not return the previous statements to the court.

01:36The six security personnel of Manila Arena in Santa Ana, Manila were accused of being last-dispatchers.

01:43They were in a van with those missing in Bongero and the driver they kidnapped.

01:49The DOJ issued a reward of P1 million for information on their arrest.

01:57They will be arrested in a house in Paranaque in September 2023.

02:03In December 2023, they were allowed to pay P3 million each.

02:10The Manila RTC Branch 40 has not yet taken action on the motion for re-arrest of the prosecution

02:15because the court only received the decision of the Court of Appeals yesterday.
