00:00Petaling Jaya MP Lee Chien Chung has urged Hannah Yeoh to forgive Perapas Chief Razman Zakaria

00:08for his recent claim linking her to the Yeoh family of the YTL Corporation Berhad conglomerate.

00:14In a statement, Lee said he fully supported Yeoh's right to seek justice but disagreed with

00:20her plan to send Razman a letter of demand. He said such misunderstanding and behaviour

00:25was common among Malaysians who rarely engage with other races. Lee, who is from PKR, also

00:32advised Razman to fact-check and get to know other cultures before making such public statements.

00:38As for Yeoh, he said now is the perfect time to respond to malicious allegations with grace and

00:44forgiveness, showcasing the values of understanding and magnanimity during this Lunar New Year

00:50celebration. Earlier today, Yeoh said she would serve Razman with a letter of demand despite his

00:56apology yesterday for claiming that she was the daughter of a rich man. The Youth and Sports

01:01Minister said the past leader had also made other allegedly defamatory allegations against her

01:07in the same speech.
