00:00Subang MP Wang Chen has come out in support of graphic artist and activist Fahmi Reza
00:07after the latter was summoned by the police over a graphic on the new Sabah governor Musa
00:12Aman.
00:13In a Facebook post, the PKR MP said political satire and parody works should not be deemed
00:19a crime and expressed hope that the police would be impartial in conducting the probe.
00:24Fahmi earlier gave a statement to the police at Bukit Aman over the graphic, which was
00:29published on December 17, the same day Musa was appointed as Sabah's 11th governor.
00:35The artist is being investigated under the Sedition Act, Section 233 of the Communications
00:40and Multimedia Act for the improper use of network facilities, and Section 504 of the
00:45Penal Code for intentional insult with the intent to provoke a breach of the peace.
00:51Fahmi said police told him he is being probed after the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia
00:55Commission filed a police report over the graphic.
